Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe room still had someone elses drinks in the fridge. I don't think it got vacuumed as there were bits and pieces on the floor and on the bench over the fridge. If it was vacuumed, it wasn't a good job. The furniture is tired and does not depict the picture advertised. I think it may be a disability room as well judging by the bathroom. It would have limited use and would not be usable by all disabled people as my grandson would not be able to use this room. His wheelchair takes up too much space and it would be awkward to get his commode and a carer into the small bathroom. Noteworthy comment if advertising as a disablility room. Limited to certain disabilities and not all.

New ZealandDon't stay there if you want a place to sleep. They take people who need emergency housing through an agency, and you may be subjected to people fighting, screaming, banging furniture and doors, the police being called, visitors leaving in the early hours of the morning blasting their car horns. They will tell you they don't normally take people needing emergency housing, but 2 different families were there during my 5 night stay that carried on in the same way (fighting, screaming etc). There is no on-site manager after hours and the person at reception lives 20-30 minutes away. During my stay another guest obviously felt so endangered that they called the police. I moved rooms after the first night of noise, but this turned out to be worse. When I checked out I asked for a refund for the 2 nights of little to no sleep due to fighting and police visiting the room next door and was told they would be in touch. It's been 2 weeks now, and I've heard nothing.
The negatives of this motel outweighed the positives to such an extent that I can't recommend this motel at all.

New ZealandThe room gave the impression that one day they decided that it would no longer be a conference room and it would now be a bedroom. The windows need custom fit curtains as there was a gap below and a gap above letting in horrendous light. If you are sensitive to light, then the queen studio is not for you. I had the worst sleep, I couldn't get the room dark enough as it's at the very front with all the lights on (like you see all the lights on at motels). There was a cool breeze and I closed all the windows. I didn't want the heat pump on all night. The tv was on a computer desk that didn't suit the room. Your coffee press in the room needs replacing - it's not pressing and keeping the coffee inside. I probably wouldn't stay again - my child had a sleepover and I got to stay somewhere nice and hardly got any sleep. I feel rubbish putting in a bad review but we're putting our sleep in your hands and it's your job to make sure we get it. (also what's with all these amazing reviews and no comments?)
Location was easy to find, close to the shops. Bed was quite soft, shower and toilet worked fine. I was in a studio unit, there was a park outside. There were some sky channels. There was a good range of drink sachets.
