Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Great location, clean and very roomy. I loved the huge spa bath. It was fantastic to be able to walk into town and have the beach right at your doorstep. Loved that it was quiet too.

New ZealandRooms are very tired. Need some plaster and paint to fix dings in walls and some of the furniture is badly worn and should have been replaced a long time ago. Also, the air con unit was so heavily clogged with fluff (and probably mould inside) that I turned it off due to the risk of it giving me a serious pneumonia infection or even Legionnaires’ disease. The a/c units need to be regularly cleaned to fix this serious health hazard. But otherwise the rooms were cleaned to a high standard.

AustraliaOur Netflix wasn’t working however the receptionist tried his best to get it working. Not anything bad but just keep in mind that the hotel is also shared with the Shoreline hotel, was a little confusing at first especially because they look the same.
We booked the family suite which meant we had a private parking spot right in front of our place - very convenient and easy to get our luggage into the room. Staff were lovely and helped with anything we needed. Very comfortable beds and spacious suite with a nice spa.
