Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean, up to date facilities, comfortable and felt safe and it was a great location. Communication with the host was quick, easy and clear. Will certainly tell others about the great stay we had.

New ZealandEveything was perfect just a bit risky on parking at its street parking so a bit scary at night when you’re trying to find a parking with the busy road. A recommendation would be to allocate parking to each apartment, however understandable that it was how the units was built so was ok to compromise. Nothing bad happened 😊
Very clean and compact, the amenities were very modern and up to date. Great smart tv with latest appliances. The bed was great with good linen and very clean. Had everything we needed, this was the iron table with iron, mirrors and dimming lights. The bathroom was very modern and perfect after a long day. Great supply of small items. Also great location with beach right at the doorstep. 😍😍😍

New Zealand1. Stairs, the advertising didn't mention it was two story. 2. Even tho it's a newish property, it's a high density property, 32 units on a 2/3 building blocks , with no onsite parking , 20/30 cars parked out in the street. 3. due to the previous point lots of rubbish bins line the street with lots of parked cars. 4. No One looking after the gardens, they are suffering.
It's a newish property, very nice inside.clean very inviting inside the building. New appliances. Great well equiped kitchen and bathroom. Close to beach. Nice walks and swimming.

New ZealandThe sound volume of the TV was poor. Is it your own setting or mechanical failure? So we couldn't enjoy the movie and news. We used the toaster for 2 slices with level 2. It made strange fume and bread were completely burned out. And a lot of smoke was occurred so the smoke alarm was triggered. We opened the back door and on the extract fan. But alarm was not stop immediately. It was early cold morning, sorry to neighbours. And we feared the fire service would come. We lost good breakfast.
It was brand new and very clean. Close to beach and town. Warm and quiet. Lot of storage spaces.

New ZealandVery very steep stairs and 14 of them! No air con upstairs and it was INCREDIBLY hot, as hot air rises. I tried leaving the blinds closed and windows open for airflow but it didn't make any difference. Yes, there was a fan I could plug in but it was incredibly noisy to keep going all night and very ineffective at cooling down the upstairs. Instructions on how to locate the unit could have been a little more user friendly. The towels were only towels not bath sheets. It's nice to have towels big enough to wrap up in. Given that it is across the road from the beach, having beach towels available for use would have been useful as I didn't want to take the beautiful white bath towels to the beach. Bed wasn't very comfy... Might have been the wooden base. Couch very hard and given that that was where the air con was, it was the only place to be when it was 32 degrees outside! Not having off the street parking was a pain. When ordering Uber Eats or getting a grocery delivery the drivers were frustrated over not having anywhere to park to drop off. Also, when catching an Uber the drivers had to double park which was difficult when requiring the driver's assistance with bags etc. A designated 5 minute drop off zone is needed. It would have been nice to have a USB place to plug in. Would be lovely to have some recommendations regarding shopping and restaurants nearby. Pity there wasn't a downstairs toilet! No full length mirror in the bedroom. Washing machine ineffectual at washing despite long wash. (Clothes left with marks.) No tv in the bedroom... Would have been nice to watch tv in bed especially given the bathroom was also upstairs.
Amazing central New Brighton location. Fantastically flash toilet with a heated seat and bidet option! Keyless entry was fab cos it meant you could just go to the beach and not worry about taking a key and worrying about losing it! Love the lollies, plunger coffee, hot chocolate etc. Good tv with app availability. Nice having body/hand wash, (pity it was coconut!) shampoo and conditioner etc as well as laundry powder for use. A nice touch. Lots of hangers in the wardrobe. Grateful for the small carton of milk in the fridge for my coffee as arriving late at night meant that shops were closed. Nice having a table and chairs outside to sit at. Also good to have an outside tap to wash feet off after the beach.

Felt very home like, was extremely well presented and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I felt very comfortable and the privacy was nice. Excellent location.
