We had a nice cosy little room, it was all my husband and I needed, nice and clean to, and OMG the shower was amazing.

I arrived early - 9:45am, well aware of the time but stopped to ask if I could drop my bag and use the toilet and I was pleasantly given my room key, no additional cost just moved stuff around to make it happen. The hospitality from the owner was a far reach of finding this service elsewhere, I was unwell and was ever so grateful as I slept most of the day away. Thank you so much for the manaki

I'd paid less for very similar rooms at other motels in Rotorua the previous two nights without them being on this special low rate. So I felt that the room was a little small when looking at its regular price. This motel's prices are generally double many other motels in the area so I thought the room would be larger, but it wasn't. But apart from that still very pleasant and comfortable.

It was a very clean, modern studio which I managed to get at a bargain rate as part of a special deal on Bookings.com

Lack of dishes to use in microwave / only one provided. Looks dated from outside but fine inside. Garden not very appealing .

Good location. Clothes Washing facilities. Comfortable rooms- typical motel room but spacious and clean. Heater in bathroom. Microwave . Fish and chip shop in same road ( closed Mondays!)

We got single Beds when traveling as a couple for my Birthday weekend away. We had couple on our reservation so why single beds I dnt knw.

Comfy Bed. Good air con. Handy location with nearby shops & thermal Park. Kitchen facilities & large bathroom. Good TV with sky channels. Views of the lake.

Next to a busy road but noise wasn't really a problem

The room itself was nicer than we thought it would be from outside. Slightly out of Rotorua but the lake was easily within walking distance

A comfortable room with good facilities within walking distance of the lakefront and other attractions. Our room was quiet, airy and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good option for those driving who would like off street parking.

It was very close to a major road - so road noise could be heard

Good service from the owner as on arrival our 2nd booking was not known to the hotel but he was able to juggle rooms to allow our 2nd booking to materialise

Beds were a bit too soft for our preference, the entrance to the room was a single-glazed sliding door which can disturb light sleepers but it was fine for us and couldn't hear the main road. The only natural light was the bathroom window and the sliding door but need to have the curtains pulled for privacy so it was a bit dark but can be solved with having the lights on. But something for other travellers to take note if they really prefer natural light.

The family that owns the motel is very kind, the space has what you need and is clean and updated, and it's very near to the geothermic public park.

The perfect motel. Modern and very comfortable room with everything we needed for a couple of nights. Brilliant staff and extremely well looked after. Brunch recommended at ‘Bird The Word’ on the Lakeside complex was amazing.
