I didn’t feel super safe walking to and from my room. The room itself and bathrooms had a lot of things broken or poorly fixed. Really rough painting in the bathroom which isn’t a biggy, but I felt a lot of small things could have been done to make a big difference for presentation. The drawers in the bathroom were broken, the blinds were broken, the wardrobe doors didn’t fully close, the drains in the bathroom smelt awful, the bathroom handle for the Internal door was broken. It was still a comfortable stay, but there were too many small things wrong that made it feel like it wasn’t great value for the money we paid. Wouldn’t stay again.

The fact that we had a room and bathroom each was great. The staff were excellent. The view from the room was lovely as we were on the end.

The coffee machine didn't work properly. Cold coffee and very weak coffee in pods. The shower head in the 2nd bathroom was loose and wouldn't stay up. Annoying for taller people. Couldn't get Netflix or Youtube to work. Even the person sent up to fix it couldn't get it to go !!!! Did not impress our grandson at all... Would of liked to have had Sky for Sport, (just a suggestion.)

The close proximity to central Wellington. Bedrooms great. Very comfortable beds. Great views from where we stayed on 4th floor. Great to have a dish washer, washing machine & dryer. Very glad of the lift for getting up & down from our room.

Having a car in downtown Wellington is a nightmare, and bringing a car to Boulcott Suites is a triple nightmare. It was great to have a secure parking place (at a bargain price, in fact), but getting to the garage totally stressed me out - steep, narrow and super tight curves. We'll stay outside the city next time.

We were in the North Tower and the views of downtown were amazing. Convenience stores, restaurants and bakeries were all within walking distance. Having the washer/dryer combo in the room made it super easy to do laundry while we went to dinner.

All very modern, a kitchenette was very helpful, even with a little dishwasher and a washing machine we did not use. Close to the train station, the city center and within walking distance to the Victoria lookout.

‘Sofa’ in lounge area is ugly, uncomfortable and not suitable for 2 people to sit in comfort. It’s like a office seat. No separate chair although there is plenty of room for one. Could not comfortably relax in the room unless we lay on bed- not ok for a suite but more like a studio in this respect. Not worth extra money.

Very loud; our room was right next to the elevator and it sounded like a bowling ball rolling down the stairs, every time someone used it (2 15 am the first night and 4am on the last night; in the dead of night, it woke us both up and could hear other guests being woken up). The CBD itself is very loud; lots of shouting, fighting, trucks etc but that's not the fault of the hotel, although, there was also a streetlamp that shone straight in all of the windows, all night. More than that though, we could hear every footstep, shower, toilet visit and cough of every nearby guest, all day and night; rooms need soundproofing. Also, the beds were a bit too firm.

Close to the conference in the CBD, easy to find, very friendly staff and great to have a kitchen, washer/drier etc instead of the minimal facilities in a standard hotel room. Secure parking for our car was a plus and very close to our room for loading/unloading.
