Comfortable and cosy room, clean and tidy house. Great value for money, friendly and helpful host, lovely view from room, would definitely stay again!

The communication was misleading. There was no opportunity to negotiate a refund.

After hearing from Brony herself that the key would be in the mailbox and it was easy peasy as we were already at the wedding, we showed up and it was not. I tried to contact via the number I was contacted on with no reply and we had to abandon the accommodation and make other plans. In the morning I was told the key does not stay out all night, as we were there at 1130pm. I was not advised of this prior. I was then refused a refund, and told I will be getting a poor reference myself.

I thought that a couple of the guest...maybe long term ones were rude.....we were on vacation and had our itinerary full....NO sleeping in for us!! I did leave them " treats " the EARLY morning of our departure to catch the train which was a very short walk hauling all our luggage to apologize if we "disturb " them.....hope they accepted 😉

The location for us was perfect...we booked a fishing charter out of Mana Marina. Plenty of places to walk to for food/drinks. We were right on the water....beautiful!! The house is older, had many rooms for rent amoung the 2 floors, we didn't know how many rooms were rented....we had one on the bottom floor and 2 on the upper. We saw 2 other people in the area most of one day watching TV and then in the morning when they came downstairs to use the bathroom that we all shared and yelling at us to be quiet as someone was supposedly sleeping behind a door by the bathroom that we didn't even know was a bedroom. Might have been the person we heard thru the night fall off a chair in the kitchen that wasn't far from our room.. The place was full of antique furnishings...LOVED THAT, clean, sharing a bathroom wasn't an issue as all we did was virtually sleep there 2 nights. The owner answered all my questions on a timely manner and was VERY helpful before our trip.....we would stay here again!!

My room key did not work properly, I did not feel comfortable leaving my things in the room if I left. The exterior doors of the property were. not locked when I was there. Upon trying to communicate with the property owner I was only insulted. I had originally recommended this rental to friends as a place with a great location. My friends inquiry as to availability was never answered, while my request for help with the door/key malfunction was never addressed. My request for a partial refund was denied, with a personal insult and unprofessional launguage. After having paid for two nights lodging and never staying there, I thought that a refund of one night's unused room stay was reasonable. I did my best to try to get the key to lock the room, but could not do so. I have never been insulted by any property manager; this is a new experience.

There was confusion during the week whether I had a room or not - on the prior Thursday it was confirmed I did have a room although not the original. This instruction obviously did not make it to the staff causing a stressful situation. I was greeted at the door with rudeness, shuffled off to my room and not shown any of the facilities. I felt unwelcome and decided not to stay the second night. When reached out to Browyn via text did not receive a reply; ended up overpaying for a poor nights accommodation in a nice building at a nice spot.

Just before staying owner sent me an update on what the room was really like that did not match how it was described in the listing. I was sent a message that if they would not be there at my arrival time they would send a message where the key would be. I got there at the time I had given them. Hard to work out where entrance was. In the end other guests helped me out. Would have been simple if message had been sent to me where key was!

Everything was great, but it is worth noting that there is only one main bathroom, so you need to get in there early

The property is opposite the train station with private access to the beach. Close to the local shops and cafes.

The bed was soft and comfortable. The house was old, solidly constructed, and had plenty of character, and it was lovely being on the beach.

External room very small and had to use a padlock. Also single glazing. All doors need to have keys to lock the rooms. An additional shower is needed indoors. Living room smells of cat pee. Property in general need of upgrading.

The darkroom we stay in the bathroom shower was awkward to get in and out of. Would of been nice to be shown around.
