It was exactly what we wanted in accommodation. The staff were lovely, welcoming & very helpful. The room was great with comfortable beds & the pool made the younger kids happy 😊

The Holiday Inn was very near to the Auckland Airport which was important for us during our stay there. The size of the room was excellent, also the amenities of the bathroom. We liked also the swimmign pool and the nice garden of the hotel.

The gym equipment was damaged and not working. It needs an update. Food was expensive.

Pool and outdoor seating perfect on a hot day. The bed was very comfortable.

We booked for 4 people but there were only ever 2 towels in the room and we would have to ring to get more. Room service plates always were collected and sat at the end of the hallway for a day or so.

Air conditioning was amazing. Everyone was very helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool. Wifi was very good. Good value tidy rooms. Great place to use as a base.

Stayed in the older part of the hotel and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Beds were nice. Curtains and aircon worked well. Had a bath which was great for the kids. Had everything we needed. Kids LOVED the pool. Food was decent and the staff were helpful and very friendly. Special mention to Preanna who set up the extra bed in our room. And the cleaning lady with the flower behind her ear. Beautiful people

Need to improve: We asked for more towels at reception 3x before someone bought them to us, that took about 2 hours - that is kinda unacceptable for any hotel. There were only 2 towels for 2 adults an 2 kids in the room. Also was only given 1 key instead of 2 - the receptionist asked me if I wanted 2, but then only gave 1 and I had to go back to get the 2nd. These are small things and not a language problem coz I am from NZ, but these things shouldnt happen. There were trays of Room Service food in 2 places in the hallways, that were there early evening and then still there in the morning, with uneaten and unfinished food still on the trays. This is also kinda usually never seen in a hotel. Leaving the hotel in the car after returning the keys, we couldnt get out of the car park because the gate required a key to leave (but did not require a key to enter) - so this was really annoying! Also, the receptionist was overly keen to upsell us to the dinner buffet and incorrectly offered to sell us breakfast that was actually already included in our rate.

Pool Area - having the Buffet and a beer etc here was really nice, this feature probably will make us stay there again next year.

We stayed for two night, in preparation for our flight. After checking in we were told there were no elevators, which restricts access to rooms on upper levels. Considering we had children with us and had just driven hours to get there, it was a real pain having to unload and carry suitcases up and down the stairs. Would have appreciated assistance with this.

We loved everything except 4.30am emergency evacuation but understandable this was probably out of hotel mgmts control

From moment we checked in we were greeted with great customer service. Great first impressions of the hotel. Access to room was easy and well secured to guests only. We loved the pool for the kids and spacious seating around the pool area in and out of the sun. We traveled in a large group so never felt like our numbers was a inconvenience or took up all the space.
