The only thing I could mention is how bright it is at night through the bedroom window due to it being well lit outside. There are blackout curtains, but the light seems come through the edges. Maybe adding a curtain rod with some thick curtains could help?

Great location. Walking distance to anywhere in the city. Homely decor, clean and tidy, and good quality linen. Michiel was also easy to contact and prompt with replying to messages. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay. Will definitely book again if we are back in Christchurch.

Comfortable and well appointed apartment in a fabulous location with lovely cafes and bars on the same street. Central Christchurch is only a few minutes walk away as is the bus depot for exploring the wider city. Very helpful host and quick to respond.

This is our 4th(?) stay at Central City Apartments, but 1st stay with new management/owner. Pleased to say new owner has maintained the standards of previous host re clean, amenities and communication. Easy location to supermarket and central bus station and CBD.

I would have given this accomodation an exceptional (9.0), however unfortunately the apartment can be a bit noisy from the upstairs neighbours. It is not too bad, but can be a bit annoying at times. Which is strange, because it is a relatively new building. Despite me being someone who usually is annoyed very quickly by noise, I would stay again, because the everything else about the apartment was superb!

Loved the accomodation, it had all the facilties we needed. The apartment was spacious and felt like we were residents in Christchurch, because it was basically a home. The location is very convenient, close to the city centre. The host was very welcoming with his messages and was helpful in assisting us via Booking.com messages.

Some milk would have been good for our arrival after a long drive. There is no lift.

Location in a very cool street. Most amazing bakery. Very quiet apartment as I couldn't hear neighbours at all. Spacious and enjoyed two big sofas and Netflix.

The location is fantastic. Close to shops, restaurants the river... everything we needed right there, but it was also slightly off the beaten track, so nice and quiet. We will be back and recommending to friends and family. Thank you!

This was an excellent home from home apartment in a very good location for central Christchurch. The accommodation provided a well equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable seating area, and a separate bedroom. We also found it very helpful having a washing machine as we'd already been on the road for 2 weeks with another 2 ahead of us. Lastly, the apartment came with its own off-street parking. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

It is a spacious flat with everything you need. It was very clean, very well-equipped, with the perfect location close to the city center. We will definitely book again this accommodation, it was one of the best we had during our stay in New Zealand.
