I have no complaints about the property whatsoever.

As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed in by Linda who was very lovely and accommodating. She gave recommendations for places to eat which we went and tried and was not disappointed. We had brunch at Ritual Cafe. Very yummy food! Room was fresh, spacious, clean, comfortable and has everything you need. My mother in law had her own room which had a spa bath so that’s awesome! We had a shower but oh my the water pressure was amazing! Loved it. The property is also only a minutes walk from the main town centre which is very handy! Parking was great as we parked right outside our room. Also can’t forget to mention that the beds are so comfy and warm! This place is very affordable as well! Let’s not forget that part 😊

The Villa is very well maintained and looked after by the host. The Villa felt like home away from home. It had everything that you need to make yourself at home. Inside of the house was very clean and tidy. The rooms were perfect for my family of 4. I would stay here again next time I'm in NZ. Value for money really great place to stay. So many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I forgot to mention inside the house there was a book which was very well put together with information on the local places to visit and menus from cafes and other places to eat. I really appreciated the details in everything.

The bed was old and very soft. And there was no aircon, as fans just circulate the warm air.

Booked this for my daughter who was travelling home from Christchurch to Auckland. Hosts were amazing and gave her a quiet room away from the road so her possessions were safe and even called me to check she was ok when she was running a little behind. Lovely people and my daughter really enjoyed her short overnight stay.

My room had a shower within a spa bath. Water can go out of the bath (but that’s probably just me!)

Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Fully equipped units with lots of space. The staff are fabulous too - friendly and welcoming. Super close to restaurants, supermarket and CBD. Ideal location.

The shower took a bit of getting used to, nothing wrong with lovely hot water but the shower curtain and tiled floor took a bit of getting used to, to not swamp the place out! Was a little concerned about wet slippery floor so tread carefully. Not overly keen on shower mats but may be a solution?

The price was very good and the rooms were clean and tidy, mostly reasonably newish. Beds VERY comfortable, had perfect nights sleep here. The owners were very flexible with booking in and out times which was very much appreciated.

For future visitors we would recommend that you notify the motel of any mobility problems - which we failed to do. To do so would have ensured that we were given a room which suited our needs.

when we arrived Colleen realised we were seniors and she expressed concern at using a shower over the bath which was the configuration of our allocated room. As we were staying 4 nights she moved us to a room with a standard shower for the final 3 nights. Great service!
