Thames itself was a little disappointing, not many nice places to eat/open but we were there on a Monday eve

Perfect location with beautiful views and outdoor furniture to enjoy the countryside. Deliciously cooked breakfast with home made jam and cereal. Super hosts who gave very good advice about what to do.

The property was excellent, really nice breakfast, our hosts were very friendly and really helpful giving us a travel itinerary around the Coromandel peninsula; and supplying us with beach towels and spade for hot water beach.

Adrienne greeted us warmly on arrival and showed us to our self contained room which had everything we needed. Lovely comfortable bed and a great view looking down to the river valley and hills near by. We had our own table and chairs on the decking outside. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of cooked if you fancy it. Our hosts here were particularly helpful as I left a couple of items behind which they were more than willing to post to me.

When the adjoining room was occupied you could hear some noise.

We were a little uncertain tackling the steep winding drive but managed it ok.

My husband & I loved the breakfast offered ( both continental & a cooked breakfast). Our hostess also served a delicious afternoon tea on our arrival. We really appreciated the way we were welcomed & how our hosts shared recommendations on where to enjoy dinner & also the best tourist spots to visit in the area. The location of the bnb was very peaceful with gorgeous views.

As a couple who like to shower together, we found the shower cubicle just a little on the small side, but definitely adequate and not a criticism.

The property is high on a hill overlooking the river, racecourse and open paddocks. It has beautiful, well-tended gardens, very comfortable accommodation and friendly hosts.

The steepest driveway ever to entrance of the property.

Owners were lovely. Helpful & great suggestions for local trips & attractions. Fantastic views from the bedroom across the valley to the mountains one way & across the river the other direction. Lovely cooked breakfast offered each morning if wanted.
