The bed was definitely not a king bed even though the room is “1 King bed”. If you are tall, be careful of hitting your head hopping into the shower. Walls with adjoining doors are super thin, can hear every word the next room is saying.

We would have loved it if the lobby were a tad more grand. For such a nice hotel, the lobby didn't feel like it matched the niceness of the rest of the hotel.

The mountain view was amazing and worth the extra spend to us. The location is extremely convenient, right in the middle of town with restaurants and tour meeting points very nearby. The beds were really comfy and the staff were really kind and lovely. We opted for breakfast included which made it really easy and convenient to get out the door for an early morning tour or hike.

The only shortage is the parking. I did valet parking, but it took them 1 hour to get my car ready when I checked out, I do want to get my parking refunded. They don’t know how to prioritize things once they get busy.

The extraction fan in the bathroom wasn’t working/not present and so became very fogged up quickly. Only 1 coffee pod each that made an extremely small cup of coffee

We moved from a Lakeview to Mountainview room and the second room was quite dated. The balcony was pretty filthy and was level with a road outside with a lot of noisy people walking past at all hours. Also, at breakfast on the Saturday morning it seemed that a restaurant manager was doing staff reviews at the entrance desk. We could hear him berating a staff member quite severely. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at that time but it was still a little embarrassing to the customers and the staff member. Maybe these matters could be taken care of in an office. Apart from that, all the staff members were really friendly and helpful.

Hotel was right in the heart of Queenstown. The Lakeview Room had a great view of the lake and mountains. The majority of the staff from check-in to housekeeping were really friendly and accommodating. Restaurant food, both breakfasts and dinner were great.

Mainly the price, quite expensive for a room only, but we wanted a lake view!

Location, location - handy to most things in Queenstown itself, opposite the steamer wharf. Buffet breakfast was great. Used a self serve laundry which was very handy before we did further travelling in NZ. Great balcony and views of the Lake and the Remarkables range.

The location was fine, but the hotel s old and overpriced for what it is. There was a strange smell in the hallways. The view was non-existent.

Received an invoice with my address inserted as “China” when I am actually from Australia or South Korea (where I was born). Very disappointing such a big company like Crowne Plaza Hotel discriminates someone (customer) like this. The staff who has made this mistake should have asked for my address for an invoice purpose in the first place and should have not assumed where we were from by looking at our appearance. What a discrimination this is.

For what the nightly rate is the bathroom Needs renovating for sure. No mono bar.

Location. Very clean. Eden was fantastic as our room was not ready when it should have been I was a bit grumpy and she handled everything very well. An absolutely fantastic receptionist!
