The heat was unbearable in the cabins as the sun heats the cabins up like a sauna - all day in the summer.. They were definitely built for the winter and would be great at keeping us warm. But they need air con in the summer..

Location is a stunning view of the lake which can be seen from any location you stay in. The cabins are extremely clean and there is plenty of storage. There’s also a full size fridge/freezer which meant I was not limited to the amount of food to buy. Next time I will pay a little extra to have the kitchen and bathroom cabin.. it’s worth it especially in the winter! We’ve stayed both winter and summer and this place had all we need for both seasons

The accommodation was faultless, and the view from the cabin was astonishing. The shared facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) were very modern and of a high quality. Cooking, especially, was a joy, because we had all the pots, pans, utensils, hobs, cookers and sinks we needed. This accommodation represents excellent value for money, in my opinion.

Loved it, best holiday park in NZ. I booked a cabin and couldn't believe it had a full sized fridge/ freezer. The amenities are top notch. The view is amazing. Totally recommend staying here. We'll done Driftaway 💯

Clean modern and included everything we could’ve needed for a stay. There is a guest laundry available for use that was not listed as an amenity. The views from the room and short walk to the lakefront were a bonus!

I stayed in Summer so the room was quite hot at night. The heater/fan provided was too loud and didn't cool the room at all. I would have loved a proper stand up fan.

I loved how clean and modern the whole place was. I loved all the amenities in the kitchen from pots n pans to cleaning products. The fridge Freezer was the perfect size as I don't eat out. The shower water pressure was amazing. The Staff were so friendly & extremely helpful. I loved every moment of my stay here.

We could have done with a fan in the room for the first night but it was safe enough to have the windows open through the night.

Lovely new and comfortable cabins, exceptionally clean shared facilities, fantastic view and location. Very special place for us now as we got engaged in one of the little cabins.

Nothing! Only minor point was that it’s a bit far from queenstown itself but for us this was actually kind of a bonus to have somewhere really nice and chilled after a day of exploring

Just the drying rack in our cabin. Needed lots of tea towel for the water dripping from dishes since there was nowhere else to dry dishes.

The property is modern and newly built. Very nice view and very clean,too. We had everything we needed in our family cabin unit. Moreover, the facilities for the public-sharing is amazingly complete and modern, too.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The family villa we stayed in was really clean and had enough space for the family. Me and my family had a great stay overall especially it was our first time going to Queenstown. Would definitely go back and stay at Driftaway again. :)

Only one thing that could have improved it would be running water in the cabin to clean dishes etc. However they did provide amble bottles of water in the fridge.
