For us everything was perfect. Someone with mobility problems might have difficulty stepping up onto the deck at the entrance; the location of the recycling area might also be challenging due to the uneven ground.

We loved the spaciousness of this well-equipped cottage and the quiet environment...a great place to relax!

It’s a wee way out of town but that’s hardly a negative for the peace and outlook it provides.

Fantastic hospitality, we were met with a bottle of the vineyards Pinot. Gorgeous outlook over the vines. Comfortable and cosy, the kitchen in this rustic cottage was well equipped and the wood burner fire, heat pump and oil heaters kept us nice and warm. Breakfast supplies were a fabulous bonus, thank you.

Lovely, cosy accommodation amongst the vineyard area of Alexandra. A perfect base for three nights to explore the Central Otago region. Exemplary hosts that were able to help with anything that arose. Were there on our arrival with a bottle of wine in hand. Showed us all the amenities and started the fire while chatting about places of interest. Everything you could want was available. Warm beds, plenty of towels. Well stocked kitchen and pantry supplies to provide ample breakfasts and extra staples to help with preparing other meals. Well above expectations!

The cottage is about 4kms from the town centre. But we knew this.

Beautifully presented and well-appointed cottage, we felt right at home! Large bedrooms, comfy beds, wood burner and heat pump. Firewood was delivered on our arrival by Paul, so we had the wood burner going that evening! Quiet location, nice rear deck surrounded by vines, magical... Continental breakfast was ready in the fridge for the 2 days, Angela even provided gluten-free bagels for one of us. And wine tasting is a must!

The front door couldn't be opened from the outside.

Loved the food in the fridge. :D The wine was lovely. The fireplace and heat pump on was very warming, literally. Great place to rest after long hours of working hard.

Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay. we had a few issues with the bathroom but it was easily sorted

Super friendly hosts, we stayed as a place to get ready for our wedding. Heaps of space, amazing views, great TV. We were very lucky with the weather so we could use the large deck on the back of the property and go for a walk in the vines.

It can accommodate a group of people, with roomy lounge, dining room and a well equipped kitchen. It has a lovely area to sit outside with a large barbecue. There is a log burner and heat pump that kept us coy and warm.

shower pressure is low kitchen and dinning area light power is not enough . Can’t see properly when cook! bed cover and some towels has some stains !

Disappointed that we had to fill the wood baskets ourselves on arrival. Although the wood pile was only a short distance from the cottage, it would have been a welcoming touch to have had the baskets full. The hot water supply was not enough for 2 showers. Also disappointed with breakfast supplies. Opened cereal packets that are obviously left from 1 guest to another.

Lovely setting in the vineyard, and away from the main township. The wood burner made the cottage warm and cosy in the evening. Complimentary bottle of wine was nice, and we enjoyed our wine tasting session.

The overall impression both outside and inside was of tiredness, lack of proper cleaning and neglect. The high tariff is not justified. The property needs a deep clean and general refurb. The windows were very dirty, the outside areas were overgrown, The dining chairs had torn coverings and there was a musty smell throughout. There was dust and mould everywhere including a thick layer of black mould above the shower.

We liked the quiet location and the spaciousness of the bedrooms and living areas. We had a welcome bottle of wine and fruit on the table. Continental breakfast was provided.
