Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe location on a hill was slightly inconvenient. The apartment was also slightly dated and crammed for 4 people. The washer, dryer and some furniture (eg drawers in master room) need to be smaller as they are currently very crammed to use. Crockery and coasters need to be changed/updated as they are mostly old, scratched or broken (coasters).
Location was convenient enough and close to town. Nice views although slightly obstructed by a roof in front. Provided good entertainment - Netflix/smart TV, board games. There was even a first aid kit. Host was friendly and responsive, accommodated request of more toilet rolls.

AustraliaThe property was absolutely fine - the only challenging thing was the steep hill climb returning from town. But, this is a Queenstown thing and there are not many nice affordable places like this close to town that don’t have a steep hill to climb. We just caught an Uber home most times - $9.80 - worth it.
Would highly recommend this property. The location is a 5-7 minute downhill walk to town and the views are absolutely amazing. The property was very welcoming, clean, heating throughout and was equipped with all that was needed for our holiday. We were a family of four and it was just what we were looking for. Steph was amazing in her quick replies to any questions that arose.

New ZealandIt is pet friendly which is great but there is no fence so you can't just let them out by themselves, need to be on a lead but that's ok. Just letting pet owners know that as hard to tell from photos but that wouldn't put me off this lovely property. The street is really steep to get to the property.
Great property, very comfortable, would recommend. Views are good, would be lovely in the summer sitting outside as need to be outside to get the best views. Thank you Steph for being easy to contact and quick to reply to messages which is important.

United KingdomAccess to the town centre is very very steep!! For the first two days we had to walk to Queenstown for supplies until we hired a car. A bit of a challenge, something to be aware of, but I guess worth it for the views.
Fantastic views indeed!! We spent most of the time at the apartment sat on the terrace watching the ever changing scene in Queenstown below. Amazing. The apartment is well furnished and equipped and was very comfortable. Would like to return one day!

AustraliaThe side of the property is fully open so that people could walk around the back even if the back door is locked. As two friends we would of preferred two rooms that could have two queen or double beds as an option compared to the three beds (one double two singles). The walk although advertised as quite steep was a lot more then we thought it would be but still worth it for the view.
The view was incredible, lots of staples there for cooking and washing which was very helpful. Easy to get in with the lockbox and felt nicely secluded from the main town.
