The sweetest little cottage to stay at!! I wish we had found this place sooner so we could have stayed longer. Amazing rooms, so cosy and well outfitted. The food was fantastic, we felt absolutely spoilt here!

Our stay at the Ferry Bed & Breakfast was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, hosts Dan and his wife greeted us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. The homemade breakfast they prepared each morning was a true highlight 🍳 The entire B&B was very clean and had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed. We especially loved gathering around the fireplace in the sitting room in the evenings with tea and swapping stories with fellow guests after a day of exploring the area. The location of the B&B was perfect for us, with convenient parking and easy access to the city center. Surrounded by stunning scenery🏔 We would highly recommend this charming B&B to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in the area ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dan and Mitzi are great hosts and managed to build an amazing and wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The room was cozy and comfortable, the shared area with a fireplace made the evening special and super relaxing. Breakfast is delicious and has a couple of varieties, so that everyone should be able to find something. The location is quiet, offers options for nice walks and is just a few minutes drive away from Queenstown. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Everything. Dan and Mitzi were great hosts, friendly and efficient. My room was super comfortable. The situation was quiet on a no exit road and handy to the bike trails. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was fresh and tasty.

Loved everything!!!

Everything!!! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Dan & Mitzi. Dan provided us with lots of great information about the area and places to eat. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Every day, the bed was dressed, fresh towels were left, and a little treat was waiting for us too. Breakfast was cooked to order every morning and was delicious. One morning we left early for Milford Sound and they kindly prepared a breakfast to go for us which we really appreciated. Every evening there was a "treat of the day" waiting for us to have with a hot drink of your choice that you could make in the kitchen. Dan & Mitzi were brilliant hosts and we highly recommend the Ferry B & B.

Mitzi and Dan are exceptional hosts-they go out of their way to ensure their guests have the very best experience-nothing is too much trouble. Think of home made cake, delicious breakfasts made as you chat with other guests at the table, freshly laundered towels each day, a welcoming and warming log burner in the guests' lounge. Comfy beds and fluffy towels, warmed in the morning by radiators. The Ferry has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished. We loved staying there!

Would have loved to stay longer!

One of our favorite places we've stayed in NZ (over the past 21 years of living in NZ 🥰) All the previous reviews were spot on! Loved every little detail at The Ferry. The breakfast and meeting other overseas guests were the highlight. The owners have a wonderful gift of hospitality.

I would give rate 20 points out of 10 if I could :) , cause this place is amazing and hosts are so wonderful! Everything exceeded our expectations! They are making amazing breakfast! We do not have enough words to describe this place, everyone has to experience it for themselves. We are so, so thankful for Mitzi and Dan!!!

Fantastic breakfast and lovely friendly hosts. Interesting historical building. Excellent shared kitchen and lounge/dining area which means you can be social with other guests. Close to Highwsy 6, lots of nice walks nearby and Queenstoen about 15 mins by car.

Yummy breakfast with great options, plenty of room for eating even when other guests were present. It is clear that this family owned B+B is built on love and passion for delivering a great service to its patrons and they go above and beyond at all times.
