    No need for improvement

Dan and Mitzi are exceptional hosts. They have thought of everything. It was a delight to experience a traditional Band B with hosts on site, interaction with other guests and a homemade (included) full breakfast, in addition to extra touches like home baked "goodies of the day" in the kitchen, alongside quality hot chocolate and tea and coffee. The location is ideal...away from tourist centric Queenstown and alongside the Shotover River with ready access to walking and bike trails and only 15 minutes drive from Arrowtown. The house has been meticulously restored and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Absolutely faultless!!

Great homely atmosphere in a top location on the Shotover River. Terrific home cooked breakfasts (including home made bread) by hosts. There was a lovely cosy wood fire at night in the lounge room and it was interesting meeting and having breakfast with the other guests (max6). Bedroom was very comfortable. Great facilities and convenient parking. Highly recommend.

Everything, couldn't fault it. The most beautiful BnB ever! Fantastic hosts who made cooked to order hot breakfasts every morning, home made yogurt, fresh fruit and homemade cake/biscuits treat every day. Beautifully restored and furnished historic building with amazing gardens in sight the old shotover river bridge and its on the Queenstown bike trail.

Loved our room. It was beautifully decorated & we enjoyed flowers from their garden & chocolates left on the bed. Breakfast was amazing as was Mitzi's Lemon & Raspberry Cake. Both Dan & Mitzi were great hosts and knowledgeable about the local & wider areas. We appreciated use of the mountain bikes too. On our last day, we had to an early flight to catch so they packed us a yummy takeaway brekky. Can't wait till our next stay. We will be back!!

The Ferry B&B was definitely one of the highlights of our trip - situated in a stunning location, the B&B comes packed with artistic quirkiness. Lovely clean room, wonderfully decorated and thought out and our bed was super super comfy! Hosts Dan and Mitzi were so friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of ideas on what to do in the area. They also cooked up a delicious breakfast for us and there was plenty of it. We also really enjoyed having breakfast and getting to meet other guests too and sharing experiences. It felt very homely and not so corporate like in large hotels. Our bathroom had a nice power shower but we loved the use of an old singer sewing machine table that was repurposed as a sink! Parking available at the property for those with (hire) vehicles. We loved watching the cute fluffy chickens roaming around the back garden from our room too.. they provided quite the entertainment!
