Size of the room and the shower head was old/dirty.

As a frequent international traveler, I loved the location of the property but then, for the price charged, most hotel rooms are much better. I would recommend this hotel for people looking to crash that night.

Incredible breakfast - really fresh with lots of great options. Room was really comfortable. The location is a bit out of town but we knew that in advance of booking so not a complaint. We had a great stay ! The hotel gym was a plus.

Definitely not value for money, receptionist not friendly at all bed was hard .. I could have sworn I paid for breakfast included feel like I had been tricked in my booking somewhere .. will definitely screen shot all my booking offers from now on.. we paid way more than expected for our room if the price included breakfast then what we paid would have been justifiable ..

The scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet could be improved, perhaps offer some other egg options as well such as boiled eggs. It would be nice if fresh milk was provided in the rooms.

Amazing staff, special mention to Paula from the restaurant who made my birthday very special! A very comfortable stay for families. We loved the pool, spa and games room. Overall very comfortable with great service.

Our room was a bit dated and old, some creasing on the carpet.

The kids loved the warm pool and close proximity to Te Puia and the beds are super comfy. There is an onsite guest laundry too! The buffet breakfast (not included in the hotel price) was really good and kids eat for free.

Building is a little old and worn. Had sleep interrupted by neighbor guests slamming doors and being loud (think they were drunk) but that's not the staffs fault.

Staff and front desk was friendly, beds were comfortable, towels are super soft, great location next to many tours and gift shop had a great, affordable selection. I don't have kids but this location seems like a great deal for families

Had to call the front desk who and I had a very cold response. Was surprised the room was serviced so late in the afternoon which was thickly with kids. Our toliet looked like it needed a good clean. Toilets in the pool cupboard was empty much of our time there

A tad disappointing - nothing actually bad, but just felt a few corners had been cut (restaurant food average, beds a bit hard, rooms cramped). Not what we usually expect from Rydges.

Unfortunately the smell of the thermal springs nearby, filtered into the room and was unpleasant.

I didn’t like the tv. Mainly cause I couldn’t work it out properly to cast my phone to it. So the kids had to watch a random movie on the channels we could access.

I liked the room. It was perfect for a 1 night stay. Great having a guest laundry. Managed to dry out our clothes.

Our room smelt a little musty like mould or the aircons needed a good clean. Larger beds would have been nice.

Loved that the location was so close to the geysers. The buffet breakfast was awesome. Motel rooms nice, beds comfortable.

The king bed was on a lean and the air conditioning was extremely noisy, I couldn't even control it, but about 11am it seemed to turn off.

I had to book last minute as I was doing planning on a day trip travel, but as time got away on me, i needed to stop to rest. I, was grateful to book one of the last 2 rooms. Staff were very lovely.
