It's a stunning location, with great views. We really enjoyed our stay here, Peter and Michelle were awesome hosts and very welcoming. Excellent breakfast with eggs from their own chickens, and spinach picked straight from the garden, all served with great coffee too. It was special to hand feed the deer too, something you can't get anywhere else! It was only a short drive through pretty countryside to Taupo township, where we went for dinner. Nice to stay in a new location near town with a different perspective and view of the lake.

Peter and Michelle were amazing hosts. The rooms were super comfertable and the location was incredible with some of the best views ive ever seen. The family dogs, were super cute and friendly and really added to the charm of the house. Breakfast was fantastic each morning with a variety of options including hot and cold (cereal and fruit etc). Special shout to Peter for showing us around and letting us meet the deer on the property which was a great experience.

The owners are pleasant and welcoming. They thoughts of all the little details which make the traveller fill comfortable. The warm breakfast in their own kitchen is a cultural experience as you get to meet people all over the world. I've booked for one night and I stayed there for three nights.

The property was so picturesque on top of the hill looking out to the mountains and lake. At night, we could enjoy the beautiful stars. Michelle & Peter were great hosts. Breakfast was delicious, and we got a tour of their farm. Their 3 dogs were wonderful and friendly. The facilities were clean and comfortable.

wonderful stay with great views of countryside. the Hosts, Peter and Michelle, were welcoming and helpful. The 2BR apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable (firm) and kitchen/bathroom amenities are first class. Very much felt like staying in someone's home. For those wanting a relaxing stay overlooking Lake Taupo, I highly recommend this place.
