Room was spotless, beds were very comfortable, plenty of space for dining and kitchenette, nice and quiet with a cozy, heritage atmosphere. Staff very helpful - came out to carry our bags upstairs on arrival and would have taken them out on departure if we hadn't already done so - ran up to collect a few things for us out of the fridge

The room was very spacious, very comfortable and cozy. As I travelled in winter, I was pleasantly surprised by the electric blanket that was provided in addition to heaters.

Facing the main street, so a bit noisy with traffic but easily remedied with ear plugs.

Excellently appointed room, up to date decor, clean, warm and welcoming. Also great to have a desk and chair in the room.

Couldn’t find the plug for one side of the electric blanket (but it was warm enough in the room with the heating). Wished there was a built in cooktop available in the room.

The location was great. Handy to uni ands other facilities. The staff service was great. Supportive and friendly.

A really beautiful room, nice lighting, comfy bed, warm and toasty. It's on a busy road but the windows are double glazed so the room is quiet. The host was exactly as you'd hope a host would be: efficient, friendly, listened to what we needed, totally not intrusive. I'll definitely come here to stay again. Really good price for what you get.

Car park is the only issue. A bit smaller and hard to access when traveling in a family van. Apart from that, its still an amazing place to go to.

I would go back to same facily if I get to visit Dunedin again. I would also recommed it to my family when they visit Dunedin. Such a clean and comfortable place. My family enjoyed staying there.

Bed was a little uncomfortable and both my wife and I didn't sleep well unfortunately. We were warned when we arrived that during peak times the hot water would sometimes run out, and indeed this almost came to pass one morning. a simple solution would be to install a more water efficient shower nozzle as the one installed had an almost ridiculously strong flow. If all the showers in the Hotel are the same no wonder they have issues!

Lovely big room , nice and warm and older style but tastefully furnished. loved the high ceilings and really big en-suite (for wheelchair we worked out). Volume of water coming from the shower was strong! It was great to have off street parking and a Dairy across the road. Also on the main bus route into town.

The room was cold and there was insufficient bedding for time of year. As a lovely old building with high ceilings, it is difficult to heat but the system was old, inefficient and struggled. Dunedin is a cold place most of the year perhaps would be ok in the middle of sumeer.

The rooms were large and nicely furnished. Lovely bathroom with awesome hot show.

Parking. It says in your booklet that you get a car park with your room…? But then in another sentence it says if car park is full, to park on road, where you can? Feel the rule should be if you have a car there should be an allocated park for you.

Room and Facility is very nice. Tells a story, loved all the old fashion decor. Comfy bed and nice heating.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like, everything was great.

Parking spots were available on the premises which was really handy. The location was within a few minutes drive of the Central city and was very handy to the stadium that we were going to for FIFA
