A lovely little home with everything we needed.

The house was fully furnished with everything we needed to make it feel like we were at home, but it was missing some basic pantry staples - salt, pepper and oil and tissue paper. It'd be nice if these were stocked for future visitors. The beds were creaky, and the mattresses were quite springy (if one person on the bed turned, the other on the bed felt it).

Great location! Very comfortable stay, we felt at home. :) It was awesome that the house had both a washing machine and dryer, and came with laundry powder sachets. The kitchen has everything too - peelers, graters, dishwasher, pots, pans, crockery etc. The electric blankets and heaters in the bedrooms really helped at night too. Staff at the main office were very friendly, and check in/out was super easy.

We had a great stay here in Tekapo. House is close town, nice deck to sit on and have an afternoon beer. Nice scenery. Will be back to stay here next time we visit Tekapo.

The outdoor area could be improved with some wind breaks for privacy and functionality and there could be comfier outdoor seating. Microwave on top of the fridge isn't the safest spot.

Well, though this house was good but we would have liked to have the house nearer to the lake. Maybe next time, we would select a better location.

We liked everything about the house. It was spacious with all the amenities that we needed, in fact, much more than we needed. A wide range of cutleries and several cleaning equipments were provided which made our stay easier.

The reception desk to take over the key is quite far from the stay house. We had to walk about 2 km to find the place.

The house is cozy and has a good view with necessary stuff. However, it might be better if the owner provides some slippers to wear in the house, especially for bathroom and kitchen area.

Electric blankets didn't work, toaster almost burnt house down as was faulty. There was a mouse in the laundry. Could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Location, space and views. Had a homely feel and the views were to die for. Beds were super comfy. Will be back.

Office closed sign out the front and inability to even inquire as to whether the room was ready early. We were under an hour before check in time but the big sign out the front was disappointing. Office hours are said to be from 9am to 5pm.

Very spacious property with large balcony where you could see the mountains. Everything needed to cook meals. Great to have a washing machine and drier. The log burner was a bonus for the cooler evenings. You could walk into to town and down ro lake.

Huge house with gorgeous views in a quiet neighborhood; if you have been to Lake Tekapo before, you know everything is close by! Super easy check in, and even easier check out. The fireplace was a bonus for a chilly night, although they also have heathers if that's not your thing. The place was clean and tidy, and it has absolutely everything you could possibly need. 10/10, we would definitely stay again, thanks team!

No dryer in the laundry and unfortunately the TV didn’t work but this was made up for by the stunning vistas out the window

The location was perfect on the lake front next to the church. Views from the lounge up the lake stunning. Bedrooms & modern bathrooms downstairs and upstairs for our extended family.

The location , and the expectation of a view but there wasn’t one

The house was extremely well appointed , very clean and a great wood fire . The advertisement photos showed a lake view, but the house is no where near a view. We would not have booked this property if we had known it did not have a view of the lake as that was our reason for coming to Lake Tekapo, therefore bit expensive for no view .

The dryer needs constant encouragement as it keeps stopping but that was the only thing we can note :)

The house is very spacious, clean and has a week equipped kitchen. There were even baby bottles and an emergency kit! The deck is perfect for stargazing. Most of the furniture is quite old but it actually adds to the character of the place. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The clothes dryer machine has some glitch.

We are family of 6 members and happily stay here for 3 nights. The property is nice and even has rice cooker for asian people! I have seen the most stars at night in that place!

I let them know it would be after office hours, and they gave me specific instructions on where to find the keys outside the office. Very easy and close to the house. The house was in a great location and was very comfortable. It had a lovely deck with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend booking this home which had all of the creature comforts.

Great large property that had amazing views over the lakes and surrounding mountains. It was a short drive into town where there were lots of restaurants available for supper.
