How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The WIFI receiption in rooms are very poor, may be not a bad thing for kids.
Swimming pool is great fun for our family and great lake view.

The only slight downside was the fact that all the pillows were very big and chunky (thick/high) which was a problem for 4 out of the 6 of us. It would have been great to have had a variety of pillows (different thicknesses) or a couple of spares to swop around for different needs. Most of us with back/neck issues ended up finding make shift solutions by putting slimmer pool towels or jumpers into the pillow cases!
A fabulous property - home away from home and had everything there that you could possibly need. We were a party of 3 x couples and there was plenty of room, both indoors and outdoors, to relax and spend time together. The pool was a lovely addition, we made good use of the BBQ and ate outside, and there was a nice view of the lake. Two of the bedrooms are quite large and roomy, the third bedroom has single beds and was quite small - so was a bit of a squeeze with luggage etc.

The booklet information is different to the information provided in arrival email. Information about access to building in the booklet is out of date. Had to contact the after hours duty person to get the code for the gate to the lake front. The toilet in the en-suite drips/runs constantly. The shower drainage in the en-suite was slow. Insinkerator button did not work - had to use power switch to operate. The markings on the oven and dishwasher have faded so they are difficult to operate.
Location was phenomenal! After hours service was good. Very clean. Amazingly comfortable beds! The pool is lovely and the property is great for families.

Needs a block out blind in the second bedroom our grown daughter was in there and she had to turn the light off to get dressed and undressed and it was broken. Also in the main bathroom the sink release button was broken so took for ever to empty, so everyone had to use master bathroom as there were five of us a little inconvenient.
Excellent location, very spacious suited our needs perfectly, very comfy beds.

The Spa pool is too hot. A bit disappointed as we look forward for a night spa. We only lasted 5 minutes as it's really too hot!! We recommend to adjust it to 39 degrees as it feels like 45.

The spa was cold and despite a request to have it turned on this did not happen. There was no second set of keys in the apartment as stated, which meant a bit of juggling with people coming and going. Three water glasses broke in the dishwasher so you might need to improve the quality of these!
Great location right near the walkway/cycleway on the edge of the lake, with a lovely cafe across the road. The apartment was spacious, warm, sunny and comfortable. It had everything our family of 5 adults needed for a weekend stay, which included cooking a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. The pool and sauna were lovely.

The spa on day 1 and 2 was so hot, like boiling, we were unable to even go in it, but it cooled down with the rain luckily.

The parking in spot #1 was a bit tight as it was against the wall and there was a sea-doo parked in spot #2. Otherwise everything was excellent.
The apartment was very spacious. The ground floor access to the pool was very nice.
