The water pressure in the shower could be better but it wasn’t as bad as we expected after reading a few reviews. We would happily trade this small thing and enjoy the clean, comfy and quiet unit.

We really enjoyed our stay, firstly this property was reasonably priced, is off the main road and was blissfully quiet. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful. The 2 bedroom unit was an older style but has been renovated and it was clean and very comfortable, we were only passing through Taupo but if we come back we would definitely stay here.

Location, small playground on the back yard, nice welcome at checkin. Kitchenette is very handy and the room is beautiful, comfy and has amazing vibe.

The second I received a call from Lisa, I knew we were in good hands. We were given a lake view unit and it really blew me away the size and tidyness and the layout. The layout just made sense. Blissful. Kids wanted a swim but understood why they couldn't and that was ok because we just came from the pools. The games room entertained them while I napped lol I really liked how the 4square is right across the road. And McDonald's, just down the road. Would come back for sure!

The shower control was either more pressure and cold, or less pressure when you rotate to heat. If you want a warm shower you have to run around to get wet. This was our only complaint.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit - plenty of space, and acceptable kitchen to prepare our own meal. Host was very helpful and suggested lots of great activities to suit our family with young kids.

As soon as we got there Lisa and Colin were welcoming and friendly. Our rooms were perfect, very spacious, tidy and clean had all the basics, kitchenware and bathroom accessories. Lounge and rooms were comfy.and cosy There was a playground just outside our room which was great for our girls, and there was a rumpus room with table tennis and pool table which was alot of fun Had a lovely private spa there which was a bonus as it was a cold weekend. Loved our stay here would definitely recommend and stay here again Perfect little family weekend trip away Thank you so much Lisa and Colin

Stayed here two nights with family. Arrived later than expected for check-in. They were very good communicating and quick response, accommodating as owners live on site. The room was warm, clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds and Sky Sports & Movies were a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Toilet was hard to fit into - very compact. But they did say they were in the process of re-doing the bathrooms.

Absolutely nothing. Sure there are more luxury accommodations to be booked here, but the service level is exceptional and that counts heavily for me.

Really nice, clean, comfy room. I got a great deal on a extra night. The couple that runs it are absolutely fabulous and will go out of their way for you. This will be my go to in Taupo from now on.
