Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaValet parking is only option but given how central it was I guess not too much of a gripe that we had to pay for it. Reception staff read out the room number aloud at check in which is not great practice. Shower had only moderate water pressure which was surprising given how swish the set up is. Couldn't figure out how to turn off the air con so the room was cold. Minor quibbles.
Location is outstanding, great view of the bay and bridge and in walking distance of eateries as well as transport options. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great to have a restaurant downstairs too, the breakfast buffet was excellent (pricey but pretty good!) and dinner was also fantastic. Would like to see more options for family rooms though as we had to share a room with two double beds - we were only there for one night so it was manageable but for longer stays it would be a pain.

New ZealandI wasn't sure which was the reception desk when I walked in, which wasn't a big issue but maybe there should be a sign for which desk is which. Also, our keycards reset an hour before we checked out so we had to get them reset. Again, this was easy to fix but a little annoyance, and may have been due to Daylight Savings.
Great location close to Queen Street and right near the ferries which was perfect for when we went to Rangitoto. The room was cosy and modern as well as clean and efficient. All the staff were very kind and helpful.
