There was something wrapped by a dish towel in the fridge freezer. I did even attempt to open it. The fridge was not very clean.

The chef hadn't arrived so there was no food available at the hotel. The neighbours shower woke us up early the next morning - noisy plumbing but lovely bathrooms.

The location wasn’t great. Waitara isn’t somewhere I’d recommend if you like going outside at night for a cigarette. Little bit dodgy.

Shower rail and curtain need to be replaced, rail was rusting and curtain was old and dirty. Unfortunately there was Karaoke happening downstairs and didn't stop until around 11.30pm which meant we couldn't get a good nights sleep ahead of our long journey home the next morning.

Friendly helpful staff, handy location to the event we were attending, clean linen and comfortable bed.

Bar is directly underneath rooms and there is no insulation so the karaoke that goes till 11:30pm and the drunk yelling and screaming until around 12:30am is not enjoyable if you have had a long day of travel.

Perfect for short term stay. Easy to find and in the middle of town. Rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. Good shower pressure.

I would like to say I always like to focus on the positives when reviewing but this time it hard not to mention all of this. Not worth $120 per night. Room 4 looking over the main Road Found a used condom in the rubbish bin in our newly cleaned room. Tea cup and saucer stuck with old milk stains. Didnt think about the noise from being above a pub with Karaoke was very loud. Road noise also loud no sound proofing. Carpet is worn and stained. Bathroom or drains smelt of urine a bit unpleasant. Other guest or residents were very loud when shutting door at 6am.

Comfortable bed , great water pressure and central for Waitara events. I did take my concerns to manager and was apologized too but she also said most of the issues weren't their fault and couldn't be helped.

The room was above a public bar, and my visit coincided with a karaoke evening till 11.30pm. Having said that, I knew from previous reviews that it could be noisy and so it didn’t come as a surprise.

Best place to park is on the street as the carpark was not safe and covered with broken glass bottles… It would have been good to have a chair to sit on in the room …also an iron and ironing board as we had a function to attend… and couldn’t iron shirt …

Comfy bed for the night … neat tidy, has a restaurant and bar on site central to family event in Urenui The shower was nice and hot… the restaurant food was good but not much on the menu due to availability …
