Noise from the traffic on the road, however, it did quieten down later in the evening. We were aware of this when we booked so it was not unexpected.

My mother stayed here during a family emergency and the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Room also had a very impressive array of cooking equipment - pretty much everything you could think of was provided - hotplate, microwave, toaster, mini fridge freezer. TV also connected to Netflix. Actual room was modern if a bit cosy.

Parking is very tight. Very noisy to outside noise and the room was not that clean. Toilet brush and Rubbish bin etc in bathroom were rusty and gross which would be an easy fix. We got at a good price but is not worth the prices I often see it at.

2nd time I have stayed here. 10/10 service the owner is soo lovely and welcoming. Room was a great size and was really clean and tidy. Loved having Netflix Bed was really comfortable. Will definitely book again

very accommodating host!! we were late arriving into Christchurch from Auckland, arrived to lights and heat pump on as it was cold outside. clean, tidy and quiet. Food and beverages about 50 metres away!!

The carpet is dirty due to this the room smelt of sweaty feet. The fan heater did not heat the bathroom was cold. There was only 1 small soap between my wife and I for a 4 day stay. Only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets we had to go shopping for tea, coffee, sugar, milk and toilet paper as the office is unattended. The motel is on a busy air road which turns into a boy racer drag street at night. There was no face clothes and no hand towels.

Very cold room, heatpump output poor, no access to extra blankets. No staff available. Carparking not guaranteed.

No office opening and didn't answer the phone. WE did want an extra towel but couldn't get hoild of anyone. Covid drama is over, get back to your office guys, and give us service

Washbasin plug leaks so tap has to be running to try and maintain a level. Toilet roll holder loose on wall. Try and put on a face.........there's no shelf to put anything so you are running in and out to the table; and like most motels the bathroom lighting was designed by a man to make putting on that face a real challenge. Four of the dreadful little milk punnets and a couple of coffees to last for a weeks stay.

Bed was excellent. Location was even more excellent when you got your head around Madras Street. Restaurant five doors away......great! Room was clean and fresh

could hear ever single noise outside, no sound proofing at all. was a weird smell and a few stains on carpet when I arrived. Cleaned them myself

obviously been very close to bealey ave at night the boyracers make it very noisy friday nights but thats not the hotels fault just bad location

Self check in, no one on site to greet or check you in. No email instructions were sent prior to our arrival, phone calls went unanswered for 40 mins, they final responded to an email we sent. Very poor communication and customer service.

Advertised with designated smoking area but there wasn't one. Smoking on street is unacceptable. Carpet in room needs good shampoo, was very stained. Only 1 towel each in room for 5 day stay, should have put more in cupboard.

Some walls were damaged of the property and the traffic noise.

Loved the whole apartment style vibe and set up. I’ve always wanted to live in one of these from a long time but haven’t got the opportunity yet. Thanks to this motel I got to experience what it would feel like 😊
