This is a wonderful studio apartment with a fantastic view of the ocean. It has a wonderful porch in front to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine, enjoying the view. There is breakfast (a great one) left in the fridge to prepare each morning. The place is sparkling clean and beautifully set up. And the hosts are lovely, welcoming couple. I highly recommend it.

Amazing! Beautiful apartment next to the ocean. Cosy, comfortable, one of the those places that instantly makes one feel at home. Breakfast is included. There is a separate entrance to the apartment through the patio. Patio and living room are both facing the ocean, meaning beautiful view is guaranteed :) This place looks and feels even better than in the photos. I can sincerely recommend Molyneux House and I would definitely love to stay there again for at a few days.

Lovely accommodation in a fabulous location. The Catlins was a real treasure of an area. Beautiful forests and wonderful coastal scenery! Just be prepared to drive several kilometers on gravel roads to beaches that are completely untouched and unspoiled. Completely worth it!!

Fantastic place, a lovely setting with amazing sea views. The place was like a private suite with everything you could need plus some. Fabulously comfortable bed. A great range of breakfast options The hosts were very helpful in telling us about things to do, see and dining choices around the area - they even did a booking for us Thank you so much Joan & John 😊

The view is fantastic. The ocean is just out the sliding door and across the road. The road is not heavily traveled, so there is no excessive noise. The bed was probably the best one we have had since coming to New Zealand. I also appreciate that the host told us about several things to do in the local area and set us up for a lot of good excursions.

I can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay.

Really lovely self-contained suite with great ensuite and kitchenette. Comfy bed, and couch with a great view of the sea. Lots of information available about the area. Hosts were really lovely and very helpful with recommendatioins of what to see. Table setting and breakfast were top notch.

Molyneux House is an absolutely amazing place to stay. Joan and John are wonderful hosts. It is a magical location with amazing sunrises. . On arrival there was an instant feeling of calmness with acoustic guitar music playing in the cosy tastefully decorated suite. Immaculately clean and comfortable bed with quality linen.

The owner covered every detail. She was friendly and accommodating. The property was immaculate and tastefully furnished. It had a great view too. Care and a professional touch from the colour schemes to the table place settings. All perfect!

Arrived at 7pm, it was dark, & couldn't work out access to our accommodation. This was due to the outside light bulb was out & needed changed .
