Thank you to Elana for taking such great care of this beautiful cottage - immaculate, clean, comfortable, and with a delicious fruit bowl, food for breakfast and as well a Nespresso coffee machine We especially loved the quiet and private location, the space, the comfy beds - and discovering a very deserted new beach :-)

Highway traffic noise meant keeping doors and windows closed for ‘rush’ periods on the state highway. Not much view, except for the garden which made up for it. The location between Hokitika and Greymouth really fitted in with our touring plans.

Excellently equipped kitchen and pantry. Fresh fruit provided, and ample milk plus frozen bread if we wanted. Loved the garden flowers and the outside dining extras. The bed was the best of any motel we have visited

Mont’s cottage and gardens were so charming and well cared for. The host left a fruit, milk, bread for guest use. The beach access was a bonus. We spent a month in New Zealand and this was one of our favorite places we stayed.

Cute cottage and garden, looking onto a farm, just off the main road and easy to find with the detailed instructions. Very well appointed, and clean. Breakfast provisions. Apps on the tv to be able to stream movies.

Absolutely stunning cottage 12 mins out of Hokitika. Everything was spotless and just oh so comfortable. Lovely nice kitched for some family cooking and enjoyment. Loads of sunshine, peace and quiet. It just doesn't get better than this.

Loved the quaint cottage in a country setting. Very cosy with all the comforts of a home away from home. Beautiful cottage garden with an abundance of birds and bees. Huge picture window in lounge room where you can relax and take in the views of garden, paddocks and skyline.

The pull out sofa bed - it would be fine for a small child but really not suitable for an adult /large teenager! Very uncomfortable. The property is close to the main road which isn’t a problem in winter but you’d need to be conscious of the traffic noise if you were wanting to relax outside in the warmer months.

Super clean, warm and comfortable. The hosts had really thought of everything - which is always so appreciated! It’s a great location, lovely wee house and garden. Close walk to a beautiful West Coast beach.

Comfy bed. The VERY thoughtful touch of a tray of seasonal fruit to enjoy. A carton of juice & milk in the fridge.. THANKYOU. We LOVED having all the space to ourselves after a long days travel. It felt VERY homely, relaxing & we felt pampered....THANKYOU
