Don't be put off by the outside appearance when you first arrive - the unit itself was brilliant - clean, well appointed and the vaulted ceiling gives a feeling of spaciousness. Great location (next to the Police Station) and handy to all the town has to offer.

The overall facility has no character or view (no "curb appeal"). It's fine, though, once your in your room, which is very nice.

The room itself is modern, clean, and spacious. Location is quiet, yet close to the small central district.

Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

The only very small bump in an otherwise perfect stay was a very hard bed.

Our stay here was just great. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The suite was spotless with everything we needed provided and the location was perfect.

Recently refurbished motel rooms. Welcoming staff. Attractive, comfortable and warm as toast with radiator heating. Spotlessly clean.Plenty of hot water. Drying room. Just a few minutes walk to restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely stay there again.

we were given a corner room facing the mountain. the view was amazing we could just stare at the mountain from bed or while having some hot chocolate. The room furnishings were new and spotless.

Nothing at all - I've travelled and stayed at accommodation around the world and appreciate good customer service, and we definitely had that!

Excellent customer service provided by staff and the proprietors throughout our entire stay. Spacious, modern, fully self contained unit with tons of space to stretch out and relax. Can definitely have several people inside for drinks and a get together and not feel cramped. Rooms fully serviced each day and an unexpected surprise was our dishes (which we weren't expecting) put away after we left them to air dry. Dry room available along with heated spa pool and being only a few minutes walk to the shopping precinct make this an ideal choice. No hesitation in staying here again!

Ideal for walking to town amenities. Bonus access to walking track with native bush. Off street parking meant no car worries. Friendly operators and bonus utilities make it a notch above the majority of motels.

The owner of the property was so nice and friendly, you could tell he really cares about his guests. He even gave us some of his own butter to use to let us cook up a quick dinner. The place itself was so modern and comfortable, probably the best place we stayed in North Island. Stayed to be able to do the Tongariro crossing, which was easily accessible from here. Facilities were great, including a drying room to dry our washed clothes. Apartment was serviced everyday, including washing our dishes we didn't have time to clear up before heading off on our trek!
