Didn’t dislike anything. Would be nice to have a sofa in the main room.

We appreciated the early check in so we could freshen up before our event and being on ground floor for senior dad. The black out curtains were excellent and we enjoyed the comfy beds and more than enough teas and coffees

We couldn’t log into the wifi consistently and when we could the wifi connection kept dropping in and out.

In spite of our room being just a studio it had a sofa, a comfy arm chair, and table/chairs. Plenty of choices for rest and relaxation. Designated parking.

The shower looked as if it needed updating.

Room was big with a comfortable bed, couch, table, microwave and fridge. I was given milk as there was tea making facilities in the room. Everything was supplied for a comfortable stay. Good to have parking space right outside. Motor Inn is handy to local places as it is in a great location.

Clean, tidy rooms. Loved the separate bathroom and toilet. We had everything that we needed, and beds were comfortable. Nice location that was relatively quiet.

There was a little bit of drama with some of our visitors, it could have been handled much better (more professional) from the owners perspective.

Paying over $200 then being told we couldn't check in if we arrived after 8pm. We were phoned and told if we had arrived after 8, no room after paying!

Spa bath wouldn’t work, several lights were out, the red curtains were a pain in the morning, probably a little on the pricey side per night.

Receptionist was very helpful, we requested to check in early and she responded straight away to let us know that it wouldn’t be an issue and that the room was ready. Upon arrival we were greeted and assisted by her. Very lovely lady. Room was modern, clean and had a welcoming feel to it. Nice outdoor space and the facility has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and the couch was also a fold out couch, several extra blankets provided as well as extra towels.

Nothing to dislike

Nice clean room and a good size. Friendly welcome from reception staff who let us book in early. Used the on-site swimming pool but not the restaurant, so cannot comment on food.

Really being a bit picky but could have had nicer towels, a bit worn.

Great it had air conditioning which was wonderful as very hot in the Hawkes Bay in the summer months. Really comfortable bed. Clean and tidy and spacious for the three of us staying. Nice balcony with seats. Location handy to everything. Quiet despite being close to city centre. Would definately stay again :)

Due to a very late ferry crossing (6 hours late!) to Wellington we arranged with the staff to check in around midnight. Were able to walk straight into our room and found everything ready with the room aircon going, milk in the fridge and lights on. Much appreciated by two very tired travellers. Thank you.

I stayed in a studio which is great as just me but there were no washing up facilities for the cups etc. I used. The cleaning staff took care of it but as I just stayed 2 nights not a biggie. I am staying longer next time so feel this might impinge a little with no sink.

I have stayed here a few times and I cannot fault the staff or property in any way. I traveled separately to my daughter and family, but the kids felt free enough to scooter down to me. The staff are more than accommodating and greet you with smiles. It's fabulous, staying again over Christmas week.
