We highly recommend it, amazing and outstanding location and hosts. Superbly spacious, airy, cozy and beautiful apartment with large bay windows and within easy walking distance of the beach, cafes, shops and restaurant. The apartment is tastefully decorated , quality furnished and clean, with a very nice view on the sea, very private and quiet with a lovely garden, birds and a nice deck. The kitchen is very well equipped and stocked. Dish washer and washing machine! Very comfortable living room, lots of nice areas, tables. Nice large bedroom with comfortable bed, large and fully equipped wardrobes. Cathy is a fabulous host, very caring, attentive, considerate and friendly. Our generous host provided really great breakfast and seasonal fruits and a delicious homemade muesli. Everything worked great and there was good care for all. Very good wifi. Great location. Easy check in/out and communication. You can also go/back to Auckland center very easily by bus you can take just about 200 meters below. You can stop on the way to the Tartle Center (Antartic, Animals etc..). A very nice walk also alongside the sea with a wonderful view on Auckland. We loved it and had an exceptional stay. Cathy is a fabulous host, very thoughtful, helpful, friendly & charming. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable with a lovely outdoor area everything you need to have a relaxing stay. It is in a great location, a short walk to the beach, restaurants & shops. I would highly recommend staying there & we would definitely love to stay again.

Everything!! Cathy was amazing with her welcome, groceries she was kind enough to put in fridge and on the table. The apartment was cozy with many little touches and with a fantastic view on the sea, it had a nice deck where I could sit at and have breakfast. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a lot of space for storage. Everything worked great and there was good care for all. I would certainly return!

Nothing except had we not had a kind local friend, we would have struggled without a car.

We loved it! Private, tucked away and yet not isolated! Just right for a few days of R&R for jet lagged newly arrived women. Kind owners allowed us to arrive early, 8.30am - fresh salad from the garden, such a tonic. A short walk down to the sea for daily swimming…. Perfect!

A beautiful light and airy apartment within walking distance of the beach. All the essentials were provided and also some nice little luxuries too that just added to the experience. Cathy was very attentive and supportive through some extreme weather conditions, helping us to make the most of our stay.

England women lost the Rugby World Cup final 🤦🏻‍♂️

Great location an easy walk to St Heliers beach and shops/bars etc. It was also very easy to get the bus into Auckland City centre. The host (who lives in the main house) was very helpful and encouraged us to use the fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden, which was a lovely bonus.

The attitude and concern of Cathy made this an exceptional stay - it showed in the fantastic array of little treats (wine, chocolate, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, etc etc!) and her tolerance of unexpected guests and lengthy family gatherings.

The hosts were welcoming and generous. The accommodation was spotless and large; we had everything we could want. We were also able to enjoy a large garden area outside the self-contained unit. Parking in the purpose built area was welcome. We couldn't have wished for more.
