We were a large group of women (6). More consideration for towels and toilet paper would have been greatly appreciated. Daily apartment servicing was not available and the washing machine was malfunctionaing so we were unable to wash towels as we needed them. That was disappointing as everything else was spot on.

Views were outstanding, just mesmerising with the large floor to ceiling panoramic views of Wakatipu and the Remarkables etc. The overall feeling of the apartment was warm & welcoming when we arrived, modern and clean and exceeded our initial expectations. Most of the rooms were generous, in size with stunning views. It was easy to find, easy to access and a great location that was close enough to town and the lakefront to walk if we wanted. The kitchen had nearly everything we needed and enough nicely designed cutlery, plates and glasses etc for the 6 of us. Nice wine glasses which were appreciated. The bathrooms were modern and generous as well. The hot water lasted until the 4th day, which we thought was pretty good for 6 women. The van could fit in the garage, yay, having an internal garage felt extra safe. It was quiet and comfortable although we rearranged the lounge to orient the couch to the extraordinary view and we appreciated the gas fire which added a lovely atmosphere.

The apartment that we received just needed some tlc - a few light bulbs need replacing, needs a fresh coat of paint and part of carpet has been damage and now is lifting and fraying.

Better maintenance would help the overall impression. Likewise, the cleanliness of common areas and corridors could be better. The apartment as such was however clean.

Toiletries were lacking, very noisy, squeaky stairs. A few things were a bit tired - paintwork and deep gouges in wooden flooring.

Be aware that there is no real third bedroom. The third bedroom was basically a closet with no windows containing two twin beds. The 'room' has a skylight which provides daylight, however there is no way to keep out the light early in the morning (there are no curtains or similar)(so be prepared to wake up at sunrise....).

The staircase between the upper & lower floors in our apartment was very squeaky and noisy. It needs maintenance. The glass shower screen in the main bathroom has become miss-aligned and does not close so water sprays out onto the floor. Overall these are small issues and we still highly recommend staying at this property.

Very spacious well equipped apartment in central location and easy 5 minute drive into town. The view from the lounge room of the Remarkables and lake are amazing.
