All in all it was great actually and really close to the ski fields and the other 3 mountain, close to some essential shops, bottlo and pubs with things to do for the kids aswell.

It's quite a long drive (c.25Km) from the end of the Tongariro crossing - so you need to organise transport back beforehand. (Beware, there is little or no mobile phone coverage on the Tongariro Crossing). Probably best to buy or bring food with you and cook in the apartment. Restaurant options locally are very limited (just one option I think)

This is a self catering, well equipped, modern apartment with two bedrooms (each with king sized beds - which can be separated as required). Nice shower/bathroom (no toileteries supplied). Very good laundry facilites in the apartment. Very convenient for the Tongariro national park and Tongariro Crossing.

Shower cubicle a bit small and awkwardly shaped. But powerful shower so all good.

Lovely apartment perfectly located for hiking in the area. Comfortable beds and really well equipped for cooking. Top tip - come equipped with supermarket essentials, the closest is half an hour drive. There is a convenient store at the end of the street but limited stuff.

The only thing that was a problem for me was the shared wifi - having the wifi box right next to the bed and not able to be switched off at night was unfortunate.

Small shower space - barely fit in there. The pillows could do an upgrade as it was already thin and soft - hard to get comfy. And the main door would be better if there was a door handle on the inside.

Location is awesome! It was a short walk to 4square. It's got everything we needed. Love the fireplace and the view.

We arrived at night so we were unsure how to get into the property. Confused about whether it was back door or front door. Discovered the door was right beside the lock box and I had just missed it.

The location was awesome. A walk to the shop and we walked around the corner to catch the shuttle to the mountain. The gas fire and heat pump kept the place warm. Lots of parking at the property. There were spare blankets in the cupboard so everyone was cosy warm.

Lack of hooks in corridor for jackets. kitchen was missing some basic stuff like dish wash liquid, cleaning spray, oven gloves etc. Bedrooms are lacking of drawers/ table/ chair. We had to keep everything on the carpet. Door for terrace was bend on the top so it was hard to close it, we didn’t use terrace for this reason.

Place was warm and we were able to dry wet clothes after skiing, great dry room. It has modern vibe, doesn’t smell of damp. Warm/hot shower( great pressure )and bath, heated floor makes you feel cosy.

The only thing is shower box is too tiny. TOK’s shower hose & holder probably needs to replaced, because the shower head couldn’t be held in place. Except this minor issue this place is perfect.Highly recommended!

I can say that the Parkview Apartment is the best accommodation in the area. Super convenient location for 4 square, restaurants and skiing field. Beautiful view in a snowing day from the lounge. Our two families really like the idea of semi-detached two town houses especially great fun for the kids cross thru. Thanks so much to the property manager Jo helping out for accessing lock pad. We enjoy our stays will definitely come back next year.

My family and I loved it very much, loved the privacy and comforts of home. We have decided this will be our weekend getaway stay. Was perfect, had everything you could need. When we arrived the apartment was so beautiful and warm. The shower pressure was amazing & strong, the king-size bed was huge, comfortable an extremely warm. Just absolutely totally loved it. Can't wait to come back. Thank you to the owner who took my call when we arrived. Communication was excellent, welcoming, quick and easy.
