It was hard to find a car park nearby. On one occasion, when my attention was elsewhere, due to the narrowness of the space, I whacked my shoulder on the mantelpiece hard enough to cause a bruise. The TV was located beside the bed making it hard to view when lying in bed.

We loved our host, the house and gardens, the breakfast and the position overlooking the Devonport harbour. There are many really good restaurants and walks in the area, so a great place for a few days away.

Our host Grant was very helpful with our requests which made our stay. The building itself was full of character , and our room was cosy and quiet. The location to Devonport's main street and the ferry terminal was excellent with both being only a few minutes walk away. Thank you Grant and Judy and Joe.

Lovely B&B right in the heart of the village. My room was impeccably clean and exactly as advertised. The little added extras around the place made it a lovely nights stay. The bed was next level comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.

It was not the room i had booked, We had to put the kettle on the floor to boil as the power plug was beside the side of the bed.We went out for tea and came back when dark not enough lighting to see where you were going up the stairs to go inside.Also on the booking site it said therewere bath robes none,they also said in there manual there were some cookies none,and chocolate again none The place needs up grading don't think we would be back.

It is in desperate need of maintenance. The smallish bathroom was adequate but things were coming off the wall and it needs paint. The bedroom is cluttered with unnecessary stuff and was very hot even with the windows wide open all night. The face cloths were old and had holes in them as well as bleach marks. The towels and bath mat were in no better condition with holes and bleach marks. All need replacing. The net curtains in our bedroom were also full of holes. We were woken at 5.15am with the council workers outside with a leaf blower and a road sweeper. The owner apologised for this and said it hadn’t happened before. No effort was made in the presentation of breakfast. Just boxes of cereal and some fruit.
