Staff was wonderful, the breakfast was made to order with lots of extras. We had dinner there one evening and it in was superb with a lovely wine list. Cannot beat the views. Recommend booking a massage!

The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and there were many options. Views from the room over the lake are spectacular.

The food was amazing at dinner and breakfast. To come home at end of the day to a warm room with the bed turned down and a soap on the bed was a lovely extra touch. The DVD/book room was a nice touch and we watched a movie from the collection one evening.

Not sound proofed. Can hear people in next room, creaking floorboards as people walk by or use the stairs outside the room. Going a little too far with the markup on alcohol in the restaurant.

Good shower with heated floor and mirror in bathroom. Very spacious. Super comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner very nice. Feeding the local sheep and donkeys!!

Would have liked to stay longer.....but perhaps next time...

Peppers was a perfect setting for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Staff, especially the breakfast crew were amazing in helping map our way through local attractions. The premises and our suite were maintained with the highest standard of cleanliness.

One of the unique selling points of our last visit was the 4 course dinner with chance for pre dinner canapés with other diners which was a lovely opportunity to chat with other guests making it more of a “ house party “ atmosphere. We missed that element this time

This was a repeat visit for us after 6 years. We even had same cottage. The views, service, food and wine are wonderful. A real treat

Peppers is a tranquil escape and a beautiful property. The chef did a wonderful job with the food both at breakfast (the best of our tour of 6 weeks) and dinner. The staff are helpful and ensure your stay is comfortable. We truly enjoyed the entire property and exploring the area's thermal features.

It was perfect.

We loved our cottage on the shores of Lake Rotorua. it was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were so efficient and very friendly - they assisted with luggage as there were a few steps. The hot tub on the deck was a great after dinner treat! The views were amazing!

Although the main house and rooms were large, clean, comfortable with all the amenities, suggest some renovations to bring facilities up to date

Room was on the ground floor and it was quite exposed. We would have preferred to have been elevated with some privacy.

The views from the property were stunning. Nicky was exceptional always willing to help with a friendly smile, breakfast was wonderful every morning.

Noise travels a bit to the room from downstairs and you don’t have absolute privacy on the terrace with day guests around and staff working on the lawns etc.

It’s an older property, so don’t expect modern accommodations.

The property was very clean and beautiful but what made the experience exceptional was the staff! They made each dining experience amazing.

fluff from laundry on the duvet wasn’t the best but not a big deal. dinner was tasty but plating is average. beds were quite small for your average beds in hotels. most staff friendly.

beautiful lake views, spa and very relaxing. meals were delicious. nice feel in general to this place. generous amounts of towels. showers high pressure.

There were some inconsistencies Dinner one night was exquisite, the next night not so. The room servicing on the first day was impressive but the following day the standard was quite low.

Breakfast was superb Our cottage was extremely well fitted out with views that can’t be beaten. Staff were pleasant The private hot tub on the deck was a bonus.
