Absolutely nothing I loved it from the moment I stepped on the front porch

Everything , it was so welcoming the view was amazing. 3 bedrooms fully equipped home high end appliances a washing machine and clothes line. Stayed here to see Hobbiton. 10 minute drive to town and 10 minute drive to Hobbiton. Kelly was very accommodating. Great internet Highly recommend it was so comfortable for 3 adults

Absolutely loved the privacy & quiet location, well supplied kitchen & bathroom. Beds were extremely comfortable and whole place very clean and well decorated. Loved sitting outside on the deck watching the sunrise as well as the sunsets. We loved our evening visits by the farm dog who came to say hello and enjoy her pats! Definitely coming back to stay when in this part of NZ again.

Wifi can't connect, Both the phone and e-mail contacted the staff, and those with a very bad attitude were hung up, and the email was also very indifferent to express that it was my problem. Let me turn on the power and tell me that all other passengers can connect to the Wifi. The result is that the Wifi power is on, and finally left the next day without connecting to the Wifi. Google Maps is easy to take the wrong way, so be careful not to miss the entrance to the house, so we accidentally drove to someone else's ranch and had to get off and ask for directions.

The scenery is great and the kitchen is full of seasonings.

Fantastic property in a great location only 10 or so minutes from Hobbiton. We loved the outdoor sitting area and ate dinner outside on our first night. Beautiful surrounds looking over the country side.

Had issue with the induction cooktop but no response from the staff. Cooking facilities are limited.

Would be next level exceptional if there was a shade sail over the front decking area. It was super hot the day we stayed and shade would have been great.

Loved the rural setting with peace and quiet broken only by gentle mooing of the cows. The house was surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Everything is there at your fingertips. We opted for takeaways so didn't use the kitchen fully however omelets were made for breakfast next day. Fully confident to recommend this lovely cottage for a relaxing stay.

More outdoor furniture would have helped us and some shade too. One small fry pan in the kitchen isn’t enough.

Stunning location. Great little cottage and very relaxing. Beautiful beds. Very clean and close to the owners if there was a problem. Fly nets on the windows was a great idea.

We were enchanted with the country surrounds and the cottage itself is delightful. It was a surprisingly hot day and evening and the air conditioning was a great help with this.

As a frequent Hobbiton movie set goers and so having stayed in lots of places around Matamata , I can assure you - it’s probably the best we ever stayed at . Close to both the town and the Hobbiton. Cute, clean, stylish. I loved the comfortable bed ! What can be better than to lie down and seeing stars and the moon in the windows :) I wish we could stayed for another couple of days ! We would be happy to stay again if it’s available for our next Hobbiton visit ! Thank you Kelly ! Marry Xmas to you and your family !

Instructions before arriving clearly stating the oven is a convection microwave. We grabbed pizzas from the general store at Maramarua which turned out ok, but not great. Would have brought a different meal if we knew there was no traditional oven.

Home away from home. We are a farming family so loved being out in the country. Loved the calves being just out the bedroom window, even if they were a little noisy at times.
