Essential hotel close to Auckland. The room is minimal but comfortable and clean. the breakfast is very good, you can choose to pick from the buffet or order special plates like benedict eggs or porridge. The intolerance or special diet are well considered.

I got stuck in the elevator and the reaction to my alarm call took just a bit too long.

The staff were very friendly. The location was excellent. Within walking distance to the center of Auckland, near Auckland Museum and many restaurants. Beds were good and the bathroom was nice. We also had a good view of the Skytower.

The king bedroom felt a little tight on space and the family room could certainly benefit with additional wardrobe space. Coming from Canada, we noticed that the majority of New Zealand bathrooms don't have fans to disperse steam from showers, instead relying on high windows that open. Unfortunately these windows open to the open air hallways and we found it slightly off-putting feeling that other people could hear us so clearly (and also it being cold from early evening until after the sun rose).

Our family of five adults split into two rooms. Both rooms enjoyed the views towards downtown Auckland and the updated bathrooms. The family room was great having a kitchenette and dining/gathering space as it was nice to gather together at the end of the day. The king bedroom had excellent wardrobe space. The neighbourhood was quiet and as we loved to walk, the 20-30 minute distance to the Spark Arena / downtown Auckland was easily managed. Rosie & its' sister cafe Little Rosie (4 minutes down the road) are great spots to stop and grab a bite.

Spaceous living area, and bathroom. Bedrooms have plenty of space for luggage. Kitchen is large with essential amenities. Easy access from reception to unit, stairwell or elevator for access to and from car and room.

Clean, but not spotless The walls were pretty scratched and tatty in places - obviously from suitcases and the like. 2nd room or our 2 room apartment was on the small side, but still ok

Location was not great but we booked without knowing so obviously that’s our responsibility. Felt a bit like a motel.

For a hotel conference Centre we felt that they should have provided shuttle service from Auckland airport. The airport itself is a complete mess, disorganized, poor directions provided and Very difficult to locate taxi’s which were located about 1/2 mile from terminal.

Cannot fault the Parnell Hotel - they just do everything well - I always stay here when I come to Auckland - good value. And the best part is free parking

Our room was partially behind buildings, next time I will ask to be higher up and towards the end of the building so we have a better view.

We have stayed at The Parnel conference centre several times, it is one of our favorite stays. We love the view and having a terrace to enjoy. There is plenty of car parking and the cafe is so convenient for coffees, breakfast and room service.

The large bathroom window beside the shower needs a blind/covering. It felt like (even though the window was frosted), you were exposed from the waist up when having a shower especially when the sun was streaming in first thing in the morning! The busy main road is on the other side of that window. Bathroom privacy needed here.

The location is excellent.room was comfortable and we had an excellent view.we dined at the onsite restaurant and enjoyed a great meal at an excellent price.the service was fantastic.
