How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No parking for all rooms No parking lot available at the street nearby My van is about 3 metre high , so I cannot park at Wilson building as the staff said Very hard to check in if you arrive after 4 PM in Sunday - I called the manager for check in but he told me to ring a bell in front of the door Then I ring the bell for about ten times and someone spoke to me via intercom which was very hard to communicate as the voice is not clear then she said she’d call the manager to solve this I spent about 1 hour for check in !!!

The pattern on the windows means it's not a good view out from the room. On the plus side, it stops people looking back in!
Excellent location, handy for the terraces. Well equipped clean studio suite.

Towels were a little bit thin and there was a bit of noise from the street early Sunday morning (1-2am) as pubs emptied, but nothing major

Taxi from train station delivered us to another Quest hotel (tram station), driver couldn't or wouldn't find the correct address. To be fair it was difficult to navigate the location, needs better signage. We were lost for a while, lucky it was daylight til late. It meant we were late for check-in and had to ring a national number to gain access - not so good and time consuming.
Location was quiet. Good soundproofing. Easy enough stroll to city centre, restaurants, and tourist sights.

Was not happy about the onsite carpark. The receptionist did not give me the code to exit the carpark the next day. Was stuck in there for 30 minutes. Only got out after calling the after hours number. Almost missed my flight from the airport.
Great central location. Modern, clean and spacious room. Very comfortable bed.

Lack of parking and being fobbed off by staff when asking about parking. When we booked the listing said parking was available. We weren’t told to book in advance etc.

There is a wardrobe but it was filled with spare pillows, blankets and the ironing board, and there was no shelving. I find it funny that there was a wardrobe on offer that was used by the hotel for room supplies. The bathroom could have had better ventilation. The floor is not level with funny waves through it. Beautiful building but someone cut costs on the floor. You have to pay an extra $25 per night for parking. Street parking is $4 an hour so not a good option. The hotel parking is a tight squeeze and if you are last in you get the parks where the pigeons poop on your car all night. You need to key in a code to open the gate to let you out of the car park, and this control box is covered in poop also. I used a tissue when touching it. The toilet in the lobby has no way to dry your hands and only a well used bar of soap on offer for washing.
This is a new property in a convenient and tranquil location. It was great to have the washing machine and dryer. The room was dark enough for sleeping at night. It is very clean and neat.

Could hear some trades people or the garbage collection outside early in the morning. Otherwise everything was great!
Close to brand new and supplied new kitchen utensils and modern appliances.
