How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The included breakfast was a bit odd - there were no hot drinks. Luckily we had brought our own teabags.
The size of the apartment was a real bonus. We were able to spread out and repack for our flight. The view from the room was also very good.

Breakfast. Food cold and no Coffee. If you want coffee you have to buy it. I have commented on this before and I bet you Ramada will not respond.

Great amount of onsite parking. Restaurant was great. Delicious Eggs Benedict and coffee. Family friendly and plenty of room for a port a cot beside the bed.

Soap dispenser in the shower would not dispense. It looked like the liquid had become too thick to come out. Very frustrating trying to have a shower

The café breakfast was poorly organised- the plates and bowls ran out the first day , because they were in the dishwasher apparently and the next day it was the glasses, empty fruit juice bottles and 3 wet plates for 6 people waiting. The coffee barrister also ran out of cups at breakfast but was efficient otherwise.

Continuous (throughout the night) disturbing low humming noise apparently coming from an electrically powered device behind a removeable panel in the ceiling. Visitors are advised to check for a similar situation before finally accepting the room offered. No provision (e.g. 100 volts) for electric razors in bathroom.
Excellent breakfast and has an early start. Very good location. Hotel was quiet internally but was not in my room. Reception staff were very helpful when my booked Supershuttle failed to turn up.

The communication was great , when i needed to ask for anything they were quick to respond. I was super happy with the selection of the buffet breakfast. (Breakfast is a must when staying anywhere) big brownie points! parking was great with so many parks available it made it easy to check out at 10 pack luggage away & indulge in some food before heading on the road again. Definitely will stay again when in auckland!

The property was nice its the big lady at the ground floor restaurant that’s ruined it. Imagine yourself encountering a not so welcoming waitress at your breakfast table is not a good way to start a day. Maybe a more friendly staff at that restaurant is all you need.
The property is far from downtown Auckland but close to the airport. Nice clean room. Staffs are friendly except for ONE! The lady assigned at the Ground Floor restaurant was a bit rude. She seemed to be spying at everyone’s specially at breakfast buffet table. She doesn’t smile, and there’s this look on her face that you can tell that she is annoyed at all customers coming into the restaurant. She’s the big lady that has the scary look. We stayed there for 7 days and the same breakfast was served with no fail. And not much to choose from. 20 minutes uber ride to Auckland city center/ pier.
