How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Second time staying at this property but in a different room type than my last stay and I will probably be giving the same feedback in saying the bathrooms really need attention. Also it is expensive for what it is. Bedroom curtains would benefit from being a lot thicker to block out the outside lighting.
The location is so handy when attending events at the FMG Stadium and staff are always lovely and pleasant.

Well presented room with everything you need. a compendium would be helpful . in the tower block a list at entry as to room numbers and which floor would be helpful . Location. easy access to the property.

Wish there was a microwave in bedroom as using a jug to heat babies bottles wasn’t ideal but other than that everything was great.
Location was great if your planning to go to the stadium super close walking distance and main reason for choosing property.

The double bed wasn't very comfortable and the spa pool was murky and seemed unclean.

I think it was pretty expensive for what it was, our balcony was covered by a huge tree, no view at all. Location was great but the main road was noisy and so were the fans that were automatically on in the bathroom

Unfortunately our room was right by a very busy intersection, so the traffic throughout the night did wake me up more than once
Amazing reception service, beautiful room, very comfy bed and excellent location. Short walking distance to nearest restaurant and supermarket both across the road from the hotel and also very close to other food shops

I'm really sorry I paid for breakfast. It was dismal. Could have knocked someone out if you threw a half breakfast waffle, yes they were cut in half, or a very overcooked hash brown. Eggs were so disgusting, rubbery, probably made an hour earlier. Truly not good enough.

We finished the Te Awa Bike Trail and the hotel was right there for us where we left the track so great location! Pak n Save directly across the road. Good size comfy clean beds and clean room. Good shower pressure. Nice staff, who kindly stored our bikes for us.

The only thing I can comment here is that the motel room looks a little dated & not like the photos supplied on the website. HOWEVER, the cleanliness & comfort of the room more than made up for this.
Location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested a late check out the night before we were due to leave. Quick response. The room was very clean, with no dust in sight.What you needed in a kitchenette waa provided which i liked. Ample supply of towels. Beds were nice & comfortable. Overall experience was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Outdated facilities - shower is really low, no wipes provided compared to other hotels we have stayed. The sky cable is not working (basic channels only). The headboard was really dusty and the bedside table.

Despite the room was presented very clean, there was some 'snacks' in between the sofa/couch seats from previous guests. May have been overseen by cleaning staff. Wifi was dropping out intermittently. Otherwise, room was great and no dramas.
Room was very spacious and very clean. Location was good, parking was great. Staff were super helpful and friendly, and took the time to show me the direction of where the food was, and even better being walking distance. Beds were comfy and felt luxurious. Would stay there again when returning back to Hamilton

Pool wasn’t heated
Clean tidy rooms great central location, kids loved the hot tub. Pak n save right across the road along with subway, sushi, and other places to dine. Main shopping centre just down the road. Receptionist was lovely
