Nice location close to city but harbourside quiet. View is well worth it. Comfortable beds. Spacious enough for our family of four. Good sized kitchen equipped to make home cooked dinners. Lovely walks along waters edge. Enjoyed our stay. Grateful!

Only thing is that it could do with some full size dinner plates, the ones in the cupboards are more like side plates. Obviously not a biggie, but thought I'd mention it. The parking does take a bit of getting used to when you first arrive - or not so much the parking, but turning the car around so that you're ready to head back out. We carried on past the house thinking that there must be a turning circle at some point, but there isn't. You can always reverse back down the road to the main road, otherwise the trick is to go past the driveway, reverse up the driveway and then do a 3-point-turn using the parking space opposite the drive to turn around. But all fine once you've worked it out.

Nick was very helpful with his quick replies before we arrived. Wonderful location overlooking bay. You're reasonable high up, which adds to the view. Comfy beds, and heat pumps keep the place nice and warm on a Dunedin colder evening.

We enjoyed everything however guests with mobility issues should be aware of stairs. It is also not walking distance to a restaurant, shop etc. However facilities are great so no need to go out.

There was nothing I didn't not like, but maybe a suggestion to have a few more kitchen utensils and things like glad wrap or baking paper to use, not a big deal can always go buy it yourself if needed.

Location was great, close to town, great views and was comfortable to stay at, had everything we needed.

Be aware that as lovely as this property is, you need to have your luggage in no more than a carry on size suit case as it is up a approximately 3 flights of steep steps, although parking is provided, is quite difficult to access

The road is narrow and the parking tricky. We couldn’t get the stove top to work and there weren’t enough knives.

The carpark is very tricky, i had to use 4wd to make it work. The host did send us msg about it before our arrival and gave us clear instructions. You can choose to park off the street but still it's a tricky spot. The stairs from the carpark to the entrance was quite a hassle. I suggest the host put more information about the stairs in their listing so people who have difficulty using stairs can be well informed.

Good view of the peninsula. It has 2 heat pumps to keep this place warm and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. Pets friendly and there are plenty of space for family.

The host was excellent, responsive and very generous with their time, attention and support to us. We felt very welcomed into a private, beautiful space and very grateful for the opportunity to spend time in what was obviously a very loved home. When we were there, it snowed for the first time in the year, yet the house was very efficiently insulated and heating was appropriately placed so that we did not have to do much to maintain a comfortable environment despite the cold outside. The view was extraordinary, from all three bedrooms! The new deck was astounding, and a lovely place to go up and see the whole harbour.
