The property was clean & well thought out with everything you could need. The bed was extremely comfortable and nice to have chairs inside & outside to relax at the property. The view is so beautiful too.

Being woken by the convoy of rubbish and recycling trucks. Also, it would be nice to have a small table in the unit at which we could eat breakfast. The unit’s wee tables are too low and it was too cold to use the picnic table across the road.

The high ceiling made the studio unit feel more spacious but the best feature was the luxurious bed. And thanks to our gracious hosts, we were also very grateful to park our electric car off street and recharge it. And it was the perfect location for walking our dog and catching the ferry to Lyttelton.

If you drive, the road is very twisty from Christchurch. Remember to bring ground coffee for coffee press as none was provided. The room was a bit hot at the end of the day, so we had to open all the windows to cool it down, no air con. We were there at the end of February.

The only thing, which certainly didn’t ruin the weekend, was that there was nothing to cook our steak on. So there’s a microwave only for cooking, but now we know, we can work around that.

Beautiful, good quality, appliances, bed, coverings, dishes…. Just beautiful!! Loved everything in the room. Real luxury place to stay, and lovely surroundings. Was like Paradise.

It was all amazing.

Everything about the accommodation is wonderful. The location, the veiw, the bed, the little kitchen that was fully equipped. And the owners were just lovely. It was so clean with quality furnishings. The bathroom is big, and the shower is luxurious. The bed is amazing, and we slept so well. We were very lucky to have found the accommodation and loved it so much that we are already planning to stay here when we get back to New Zealand! The area itself is quiet with a small bar and eatery just down the road. It is a perfect setting for a relaxing and stress-free stay.

If you like somewhere slightly off the beaten track this one is amazing! What a location. It overlooks the inlet and is so peaceful. Fantastic. There is also a very nice bar / restaurant so close by.

We booked only few hours before we arrived and everything was in perfect shape....we asked for two single beds and it was perfect for me and my son: very comfortable and also the bathroom was great, clean and fully stocked. We can really recommend this accomodation!

This was a lucky find last minute booking 1 day in advance for New Year’s Eve. Me my family and fur babies enjoyed the comfort and quality of this home. The kitchen equipped with all your necessities and I especially fell in love with the boujee wine glasses. That’s a very elegant touch. I thought the dining set was also very nice too. Bathroom was exceptionally modern with awesome shower pressure and also necessities included. It was easy to be comfortable but found without air con it was rather warmer than ideal. Parking was easy to access and I loved the neighbourhood everyone was super friendly.

Being incredibly picky - very bright through top windows which had no blinds being so high up so we used eye masks from flight but a lovely unit so that wasn’t an issue for us and would strongly recommend
