The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but other than that the cabin was great value.

My son and I stayed in a cabin, which was clean and tidy. It also contained a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a TV, towels and bedding were all included.

There was a dirty, greasy pan left in the drawer in the kitchen area and the dishwasher smelt like the filter needs cleaning. The reception staff on duty were friendly and helpful but the cleaners need to up their game.

The room was excellent but the privacy was not so great. Other cabins looked directly into #5 and closing curtains was the only option. The adjoining room was also VERY NOISY. We heard parents screaming at kids and kids jumping on beds and crashing around in their kitchen. That was a bit disappointing. Check aircon regularly…it smelt weird.

Loved the double glazing in the room - very cozy at night. Spacious. All we needed was provided for dining/ cooking gear, good supply of hot drink selection and towel service were superb. Cleanliness was good and I’m super fussy in that aspect. Loved the proximity to pools and spa, Hilton Hotel restaurant, other attractions and Taupō township.

Big enough for everyone to stay with the amenities we needed. Very clean and excellent staff, nice to have the hot pools close by. The communal facilities were outstanding. We had a problem with the bathroom door that they worked hard to fix and also provided a free day at the hot pools to compensate for the inconvenience whilst it was being repaired.

The kitchenware is sparse, there are no communal BBQ implements that I could see, I needed to ask for a pot and a kitchen knife but I think it was an oversight that they weren't there in the first place, this was rectified easily and quickly. So my tip is if you need something, ask at reception they will do their best to help you.

The beds were very comfortable, the showers were lovely and hot, the cabin was spacious and the air conditioning was very welcome. The cafetiere and well stocked tea and coffee selection was a lovely addition. Showers in the shared amenities were spacious and hot.The park is very well maintained.

Location was great. We got discounted rates to the water park with our accommodation at DeBretts. There was also a playground and jumping pad for the kids.

I didn’t like the state of the crockery, cutlery and drinking cups… they were dirty and I had to wash them all and give the kitchenette a scrub down. A staff member unlocked our door without knocking and checking if it was ok to enter… I was getting dressed and felt vulnerable.

Perfect for solo or couple. Had originally booked for 2 adults and 2 teenage children this would have been a tight fit.

We were in Chalet 6B, would be nice to have a verandah to dry clothes etc. No option inside the chalet as well. There should be a limit on # of people allowed for the pools... it was crammed...not really as relaxing as the photos depict!

The amusement park didn't amuse my children. The 2 slides resulted in complaints from them that it was "slimy" and the connecting slide joints hurt their backs. After less than an hour, they were ready to leave.

The cabin we stayed in was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. Also enjoyed the terrace with beautiful view of the lake. Staff was very kind, bistro on site was convenient and Hilton hotel next door gave another walkable restaurant option. The private pool was the highlight of spa.

The staff wasn’t particularly friendly and the walls between the cabins are thin so you hear very well your neighbours. Guests still need to pay to access the pools, we hadn’t realised it wasn’t included in the price. Overall quite expensive for what it is!

The accomodation is simple but clean and there is a nice little playground for kids.
