Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaIt wasn't a huge issue, but because the hotel is right in town it can be a little noisy between 8pm and 12pm, they do supply earplugs if you are a light sleeper like I am.
Absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the staff, the room, the little surprises each day, I won't spoil them, but just be aware there are a few! If you are wanting to stay in a nice place in Wellington this is it, I highly recommend booking this place.

United StatesThe only critique that my husband and I have is on the temperature of our room. It would have been great to have heat, but only air conditioning seemed to be available.
The hotel and its location were exceptional. In terms of the hotel, my husband and I were impressed with the lobby and rooms, as well as the thoughtfulness of the staff. The staff was especially thoughtful in providing us with a room upgrade and Prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon.

New ZealandThe rooms are exceptionally designed, every little detail is thought of. From a little shelf to put your keys on, to a ring light in the mirror that’s perfect for doing your makeup/shaving/etc. everything is tailored to your convenience. My partner and I felt incredibly well looked after, especially with all of the complimentary things that are on offer (a tea station outside of your room, fresh croissants available downstairs in the morning, a full stock of toiletries, and so much more). It was a wonderfully personal experience and truly captured to the friendly and eccentric vibe of Wellington. We will absolutely be staying again. Thank you to all the staff at Intrepid.

The small touches were so lovely, to the hand written pretty envelope, to the chocolate fish delivered asking if we need anything more, complementary snacks and drink and the croissant and coffee was amazing. Every little detail was well thought out and made our stay so special. I will definitely be back! Also the most awesome thing we came across is sparkling water on tap!!!

Loved our stay at the Intrepid - such high quality service, the complimentary snacks and drinks were great - coffee just outside the room door was amazing - staff were kind and generous with their time making taxi bookings for us nothing was a problem. Room was beautiful high quality bedding very comfortable and functional spaces. Our room had a separate toilet, full length mirror lots of plugs for getting ready for a night out.
