It wasn't a huge issue, but because the hotel is right in town it can be a little noisy between 8pm and 12pm, they do supply earplugs if you are a light sleeper like I am.

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the staff, the room, the little surprises each day, I won't spoil them, but just be aware there are a few! If you are wanting to stay in a nice place in Wellington this is it, I highly recommend booking this place.

Central location with lots of restaurants and bars around. If you want to be in the middle of everything, this is a great place! Large rooms, which are very tastefully decorated.

The only critique that my husband and I have is on the temperature of our room. It would have been great to have heat, but only air conditioning seemed to be available.

The hotel and its location were exceptional. In terms of the hotel, my husband and I were impressed with the lobby and rooms, as well as the thoughtfulness of the staff. The staff was especially thoughtful in providing us with a room upgrade and Prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon.

The rooms are exceptionally designed, every little detail is thought of. From a little shelf to put your keys on, to a ring light in the mirror that’s perfect for doing your makeup/shaving/etc. everything is tailored to your convenience. My partner and I felt incredibly well looked after, especially with all of the complimentary things that are on offer (a tea station outside of your room, fresh croissants available downstairs in the morning, a full stock of toiletries, and so much more). It was a wonderfully personal experience and truly captured to the friendly and eccentric vibe of Wellington. We will absolutely be staying again. Thank you to all the staff at Intrepid.

Funky industrial steampunkisk chic fit out. Very stylish. Generous extras. Brilliant location handy to everything worth seeing and doing. Great staff.

Great atmosphere - small rooms yet laid out really well and had everything we needed so didn't feel cramped. Free snacks and the coffee / tea / water sections were really appreciated small touches. Wine bar downstairs' was great place for a drink.

There was no hotel parking, had to use public parking, however being in the city it’s understandable as to why there’s no parking option.

The style of the hotel, the cleanliness, the complementary items available. The great staff and the very comfortable beds and pillows almost missed our check out time.

Couldn't fault anything.

We loved the ambience of the hotel. The styling of the rooms and the individual lobbies create a wonderful atmosphere. Even though our room was facing the street and right next to the Intrepid sign, it only enhanced the experience and we would not hesitate to book that room again.

We had to wait a long time to access the room, 3pm is quite late for check in.

Love the croissants and coffee in the morning, it is a lovely touch, however miss that you no longer bring them to the room.

Sooooo impressed!! The small touches were so lovely, to the hand written pretty envelope, to the chocolate fish delivered asking if we need anything more, complementary snacks and drink and the croissant and coffee was amazing. Every little detail was well thought out and made our stay so special. I will definitely be back! Also the most awesome thing we came across is sparkling water on tap!!!

It was exceptionally clean and the staff were wonderful. The little extras like chocolates delivered with a card saying what the weather would be the next day was a lovely surprise.

A few extra coat hangers would have been great but I’m sure they would have given them if we had asked.

Loved our stay at the Intrepid - such high quality service, the complimentary snacks and drinks were great - coffee just outside the room door was amazing - staff were kind and generous with their time making taxi bookings for us nothing was a problem. Room was beautiful high quality bedding very comfortable and functional spaces. Our room had a separate toilet, full length mirror lots of plugs for getting ready for a night out.

Miss not having the croissants delivered to the door, hey they are still delish even having to go as far as reception to get them! but loved just having to open the door for a little surprise in the morning.

2nd visit and still great. Location was fab! Love the personal touch and the decor so cool. The staff are very friendly nothing is a problem.
