Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandA couple of items broken in kitchen like one light flickering and the can opener, which was a minor inconvenience Was unsure when booked based on photos which unit we would get as we paid a higher price but in the end were told they're both the same, so not sure why we paid more.
Location was great and handy to the bus stop. Large apartment 3 story with great sized bathrooms and plenty of room for our family of 5. Good kitchen facilities and good communication from the owner.

Property was located away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. Great views of the mountains and lake and very quiet. Beds were comfortable and the property was clean and well equipped for self catering.

AustraliaIt looks like it is walking distance to Queenstown, but the climb is pretty steep on the way back. It is worth it for the views. There is easy parking on the lake down the hill though if you'd prefer to drive down and up.
Loved the layout and views. Nice and modern kitchen and bathrooms.

New ZealandParking was a little tight for an 8 seater van. However, for smaller vehicles, this would not be a problem.
The location was quiet, with only a short 10 min drive into Queenstown CBD. Set on the high side of the road, allowed for picturesque scenery throughout the Villa. The furnishings and beds were comfortable, with a modern kitchen and laundry and dryer facilities. The Mercure Resort is only across the road, which was an added bonus for dinner and drink options. Would definitely return to The Twins.

AustraliaAccessing the property via the driveway was very difficult as a number of cars were parked on the side of the driveway against the fence at all times which left barely a car’s width between the cars and trees. Entertainment instructions mentioned a Harmon Kardon speaker but was not to be found. Also had instructions on using Sky but this service was not available. Suggest the instructions be updated accordingly
Location excellent with being far enough out of the town centre to avoid crowds but close enough for access. Setup of main bedroom downstairs with additional bedrooms upstairs worked well along with seperate bathrooms/toilets. Great kitchen which was well stocked with cooking implements & cutlery. Also the views are incredible!

New ZealandBathroom and bedroom door handles were broken which meant we couldn't close or get out. The downstairs bedroom was so cold it was inhabitable, and there were no heaters to use. The host gave me the wrong phone number and wifi password. I managed to find the correct phone number but they did not reply until 3am the next morning. The shower door was broken and couldn't close.
Location was good. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The lounge was comfortable and spacious. Garage was great for storing ski gear.
