Great little place in Martinborough, actually was bigger than it looks in the pictures. More than enough room for a family of 4, with loads of outdoor space as well. And what a huge collection of DVDs! Very responsive and helpful hosts. 10 min walk to the square.

The location was central to the township was key to our needs when booking. The fact it was The Vicarage and next to a church was a bonus. Communication through out our booking and stay was always with efficient responses, clear directions and pleasant welcoming and accommodating. On arrival the house exceeded our expectations from the website and provided great thought and care for visitors.

Mirror in the dble room needs to be repositioned, not sure where. TV was hard to operate, not that we watched TV. Keep the renovations going.

It would be good to have another small couch in the lounge instead of the wooden chairs.

Having a two seater sofa when you have 3 people staying was a pain as one of us had to use the rather uncomfortable wooden chairs. Of the 1000 DVDs avaialble on the DVD wall, 800 could not be reached (I am 1.7m tall) without standing on a chair, with 400 DVDs somewhat out of reach even when using a chair.

Wonderfully set up inside, lots of unexpected things supplied, like bicycles and lots of DVDs to choose from if you wanted to veg-out indoors. Lovely and quite during our stay.

The kitchen could do with some knives for food preparation and the garden needs a bit of love that would really enhance the property.

A very cosy beautiful cottage in an excellent location close to everything. Walking distance to shops and cafes and restaurants and short bike rides to all the nearby wineries. The cottage was was very comfortable with high ceilings and good sized rooms. The hosts provided prompt responses and suggestions for things to do and places to eat which was great. Would highly recommend!
