Great location close to town and a number of great restaurants. The property itself is rustic, warm and very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The beds were a bit too firm and had a bit of a raised “spine” in the middle.

Lovely bright open space. The house stayed cool even on a boiling hot day - would love to visit again in winter when we can get the fire cranking. So close to the town centre but feels far away which was just what we wanted.

It was so beautiful and spacious. The location was amazing too. We could walk to all the wineries and restaurants easily.

Fabulous quiet location amidst the vineyards and a short walk to town in one direction and wineries in the other. Very spacious, clean and comfortable with fabulous decor and quality fittings and furnishings. We will be back!

Tiny badly designed Bathrooms that are not in keeping with the rest of the e house. There is no alternative heating other than the wood heater. It was a cold night and no wood was provided so we could not heat the house. As it was late when we arrived we would have had to go to an outdoor shed in the dark and chopped our own wood. Was not impressed.

Spring frost windmill started up at 5am, sounded like a helicopter outside the window.

Great place, close to town and wineries. Heaps of space to chill. Fireplace was lovely and made the whole place toastie. We arranged to have bikes dropped off for touring around the wineries.

Mosquito coils would have been greatly appreciated as we had to move inside at dusk and close all the windows.

It was the perfect stay, the property felt like we were staying on a remote property while being only a few blocks from town. The outdoor area was really comfortable for 4 people, as was the interior. heavenly stay.

Could do with more coffee and only supplied for two and there was 4 of us.

Ambience, furnishings, and location. The sunflowers were out, which was an added bonus.

Bread,eggs,milk,butter everything was there. Great kitchen facilities. Was an amazing place to stay. One of the most comfortable places we’ve stayed in. Decor was fabulous and great views over the vineyard. 5minute walk to the Village with excellent eating options. Definitely our only choice for accommodation next time we are in Martinborough. 🏆

Bitterly cold on arrival. Took alot to get fire going and heat the property. Only 4 pieces of wood in wood shed so had to go out to get wood. Suggest cleaning staff start fire and warm property before arrival. I saw one staff member who dropped in just after my arrival to put more stock in. Neighbour came to complain about me having outside light on (at 8pm at night) which I preferred so I could take out garbage and gather sticks for fire. I understand that the neighbours in the area cause a lot of difficulties. I made no noise whatsoever yet they still found a reason to complain.

Close to village and clean. Had most cooking utensils but lacking a bit if you like to cook properly. Lovely area to sit outside for an evening drink although extremely exposed to street and other properties so really no privacy at all. Linen very clean and bathroom has heated towel rail. Doesn't really heat the room though which is bitterly cold in winter. This property best for families with small kids. Not really for adults with sophisticated tastes.
