Nothing it was paradise

The place was bright, beautiful, Peaceful, you have views of the lakes on either sides of the house. There are 2 tables outside, a jaccuzzi… in 3 weeks in the south island going all around this was our favorite place. It is a bit far from downtown (12-15min) which is perfect if you want to chill but drive to get groceries. If you like golf, just walk 5 min and you have a golf course, the beach, playground for kids. The deer height park is a MUST do and only 5 min drive. There were no cot and Rebecca drove to get us one that we rented within less than an hour after we arrived. Rebecca also emailed us to ask how the stay was going, if we needed any help and she had great recommendations. If you like games, reading, there is everything you need. A big TV (we’re not big on it so didn’t use it). I would be keen to buy this house as an investment property if it came on the market. It’s just amazing. We’ll be back!

That we had to leave - even after a 6 night stay we still enjoyed our lux base camp.

The house is perfectly appointed and well designed. felt luxurious yet also welcoming and homely. The views were spectacular and hot tub a wonderful treat after hiking. Was very nice to spend time cooking at home and dinning with the comfort of home and amazing views. Walking around Kelvin Heights is also fabulous.

Nothing to complain about at all.

From the moment we walked in we all fell in love with the exceptional views from all rooms! (including the toilet!). It felt very homely and had everything we needed for the most comfortable stay. The spa was set at the perfect temp, the outdoor furniture was great for breakfast, and again, the views just topped it off!

We love everything except for the dryer. When we used it, it keeps on shutting down in the middle of running. Just the electrical needs checking other than that, everything was perfect!

We had one bathroom but the shower drain was blocked which made it tricky. But everything else made up for it.

The house was in a pretty location and it had stunning 360 degree views. Perfect size for 5 people we enjoyed having breakfast on the deck and sitting in the spa at night. Kitchen had everything we needed and it was a lovely house.

It was a brilliant place to stay with the spa and the views!! It was lovely to wake up with the kitchen view over the lake while you're making a Nepresso coffee! What a perfect ladies getaway!! I'll definitely come back with my wee family!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The house and its location is absolutely stunning. Could not ask for a better view or facilities. Will need a car to drive into town for groceries and other necessaries as its a little away from the shops (about 15-20mins drive). Communication with the property management rep was easy and pleasant even during out of working hours. We have stayed at many rented properties on our travels, but this is by far the best accommodation we got with an actual functional and equipped kitchen, new sharp knives, crockery, pots, pans, glasses, cocktail shakers, etc., even muffin baking tray!!( sorry I'm a chef and is quite critical when it comes to a functional kitchen or the one that is just for display and could only use to cook instant noodles... not that we'll need to cook 5 course meals on holidays of course 😅). Everything that listed in the house facilities are there and in good working conditions, there are amazing view from every rooms in the house and even better than the photos in their ad. We parked on the street or in front of the property and have been no probs finding parking. All in all if you are looking for a rental property with a feel of home away from home and a view of heaven, this is what you are looking for. Thanks for an exceptional stay and the great memory of our first trip to Queenstown.

The instructions about the property are online but it would have been useful to have had a print out about some of the basics e.g rubbish collection days.

This property is nice and private. There is plenty of heating throughout the house. The kitchen has plenty of dishes etc and the hot tub was a winner.

Was charged $500 for a damage not caused by us. When calling the agent, the only answer I got is that their words are against ours. For future guest, the first thing you need to do is to inspect the house. After 15 mins they found out the damage was caused by previous guests, we got the refund but still frustrated.

Stay was good until an incident ruined my day.

Unfortunately there were concerns, lack of communication regarding construction next door (view particularly obstructed); lack of basic amenities - no spa towels; no gas for bbq; missing heat pump remote; broken heater in main bedroom; no milk; broken smoke alarm in garage sounding at 4am; low quality bedding and appliances; etc.. Great location however property not as advertised.
