Conveniently located. Homely feel with great Deco & comfortable beds with top quality linen. Owners have gone to great lengths to style the cottage to create a warm ambience.

The toilet handle was broken and you had to hold and turn a cetain way to flush it. Wouldn't have taken owner much to fix it. Only one mirror in one bedroom to get dressed and do your hair etc.

Great location with shops bars and restaurants so close.. Wonderful size garden with room to kick a ball around for kids. Not far to our favourite Anchor bay and other beaches.

The white cottage is absolutely stunning. So quaint and cosy, everything was thought of to make our stay enjoyable. Farmers markets right across the road, we could smell the fresh coffee, woodfire pizzas & bacon buddy’s cooking. Amy was lovely to deal with and everything was easy to access and communication was great.

The smell of a non aired house that could have afforded the time of fresh air circling through it which we could appreciate is a time factor and in no way marred out stay as it was so minor.

The house was delightful, cosy, clean and had beautiful furnishings & decor and the beds were so comfortable. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from everything we needed. Oh and the shower head was incredible!

It needed some maintenance. I didn’t like another family knocking on the door on Monday to check in whilst we were still there until Tuesday. I had expressly phoned Booking.com after speaking with the owner of the cottage, to advise them of the change in dates so that wouldn’t happen!! The owner had penciled in the date change so that Booking.com would know. My whole booking experience with Booking.com has been like a comedy of errors except it wasn’t funny and actually has been very stressful and disappointing. 😓

The unique, quaint ambiance of the cottage was great. it was very close to all the facilities, shops, markets etc…

There were a couple of very small issues in the bathroom that made things a little tricky but overall it was great.

This property is so conveniently located to enjoy all that matakana has to offer within walking distance. The attention to detail made by the hosts made our trip so much more relaxing and stress free knowing everything we needed was provided. The house was so cute and aesthetically pleasing.

No tv insructions couldnt get sky. The property is overpriced I have stayed in many five star properties around the world for less The outside offers very little privacy from passing traffic.

I needed to contact hosts regarding how to check in less than an hour before arriving. Damp, musty smell in the rooms and lounge- dissipated when doors opened but returned at night. Freezer was frozen over and we couldn't close the fridge door properly because of this. Need better blockout in the rooms because the street light shines onto the bed even with the blinds drawn. Disherwasher was full when we arrived and I had to empty it.

Beautiful location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Spacious rooms and living area. Hosts left special touches like chocolate and ice creams and wine.

Property has been remodeled but many years ago. Appliances are old and dirty. Bathroom is an insert in a lean-to style addition - a complete after thought and to the level of a cheap motel. House is cold and drafty (you can see the ground through the floor boards). This property is terribly over priced for what you are actually getting - photos are very misleading. We felt cheated and hood winked.

As it was mid winter it would have been nice to have some heat turned on for our arrival . It took several hours to warm the house and we never could warm the bathroom Everything else was very comfortable. a potato peeler in the kitchen would be good!
