Need more bathroom sink space

Nothing really. If i were to go back to christchurch i wouls prob ask for a non-handicapped room - eg shower and toilet all one big room and thus a wet floor. Other than that - if yoi can get a balcony room! Go for it

The doors can be quite loud when they shut if people aren’t careful, but I had some earplugs which were perfect. Nothing else to complain about :)

We loved the location. Its across the street from the Botanical Gardens and close to all many restaurants and shopping downtown. The room was very nice, beds were comfortable and the kitchens were well equipped. Highly recommend.

A senior gentleman complained that some of his clothing disappeared from his bed in a 6 bed dormitory room. This was embarrassing as it appeared like one of the other 5 was to blame. But management even with the wisdom of Solomon could not resolve this issue but they did upgrade him to a private room.

Modern , hotel style facilities. Everything in pristine condition. Staff very pleasant & professional.

The property is located across from a beautiful park and only a couple of city blocks from the city center with all its restaurants, shops, and the city tour tram line. Of course there were museums and much more all within reach. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious too. Super clean rating: A+.

It seemed they don’t change some of the bedding (the blanket and quilt) that’s on top of the flat sheet between each stay as it didn’t look clean and smelled. This has seemed to be a common occurrence on my trip around New Zealand and I find it unhygienic. I don’t understand why they don’t just use a duvet and duvet cover. The hotel was so clean in every other regard so this was surprising. Also a hairdryer in the room or communal bathrooms would be useful.

Location couldn’t have been better! The set up of the room was great with a table and chair that meant you could sit in there. I also had a balcony which was nice. The hotel was generally very clean and there were plenty of communal bathrooms which meant they were usually free so basically felt like having an en-suite. The kitchen was clean and well equipped.

As I was there 6 days I opted for a deluxe room with bathroom, coffee making machine. It was clean upon arrival, and daily service. I would stay there again if in Chch. Abt 7 mins walk to the cbd of Chch or use the bus. Opposite the gardens that were very peaceful. Many restaurants locally.

The room 401 was very noisy, like people were moving furniture at night, it was close to the elevator, almost forgot that, so that was a :(

The location was perfect! A few minutes walk from city center and across the road a beautiful park. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would come back in a heartbeat. I thought the price was a little steep until I got to New Zealand and experienced that everything was very expensive. considering that, this place was a steal. The room and bathroom were super clean. The tea, coffee and hot chocolate were plenty and daily restocked.

Sound proofing is a bit bad and I stayed at room 104, next to toilet, so I can hear people chatting, door slamming, people walking to toilet most of the time. Don’t recommend if you couldn’t sleep with the noise!

Well-managed and equipped hotel with modern kitchen. Very good location to walk to city central with lots of options for restaurants and attractions. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

It might be useful to have a few basics available in the kitchen eg salt, pepper but otherwise it was fine

The hotel is right beside the lovely botanic gardens and is an easy walk into the centre. It's great that it has kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff were really helpful and had suggested on a previous visit where I might park nearby. I upgraded this time to a deluxe room with my own facilities and was pleased at my decision!

Bedding had multiple long dark hairs on the top quilt and on the pillow and sheet which made me feel the top duvet cover had not been changed

Lost power so couldn't make a drink and had to shower in the dark, couldn't be helped but perhaps could have offered a complimentary coffee in the restaurant?

Great value for location, simple and easy. We always choose to stay here.
