The price for extras is exaggerated. Example: 500€ for 90min massage and 60min facial…! and we came early in the morning but after sunrise and asked upfront if possible for early check in and they said yes for a fee without specifically mention the fee. While we were on our way to the hotel they sent another message that the extra “fee” was a full night! Too late to reorganize our plans. Hotel was only 60% full so the argument that they had to block the room to be sure is not valid. Hence, if you go here early, better NOT tell them you come early so they do not “block the room”….!

The view is amazing, the suites spacious, great food and very friendly staff. Breakfast amazing.

The only negative about Alila is that it's rather expensive.

If you go yo Alila it's for the location and the canyon views. What makes you want to come back is the amazing staff that will take great care of you and your family.

Everything was perfect.

One of the absolute best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and a real highlight of our trip to Oman. Everything was perfect - the Omani welcome, the design, the location, the service, the food, the pool, even the kids club. Wish we had stayed for longer! Not cheap but worth every penny.

Exceptional mountain position . Splendid views and great and helpful staff and hospitality from everyone. The food by the new Indian chef is truly exceptional in all categories. Local, Indian, European, international, Asian. Top notch . Very nice spa facilities. Fully recommend. Rooms and whole set up and positioning is gorgeous. Probably one of thev2 or 3 best luxury hotels in Oman.

The price of the wines if you wanted to drink. That would more than double the price of your meal for a very average bottle of wine.

hi, the check-in was not necessarily pleasant because the agent immediately offered to upgrade our room even though we had told them that the room we had booked was already very good. The agent really insisted on selling us the room, and even forced us to visit the other room that had been upgraded. when you check in, you're not there to visit the other rooms. We were just hoping to be left alone in our room.

Probably the most beautiful and calm hotel I have seen in my life. The activities (via ferrata, sky gazing, walk and bike trails), the quality of the food (I met the chef and congratulated him), the kindness of the staff, the cleanness and size of the habitations and the beauty of the surroundings. I will keep these two days as the highlight of my holidays

The spa certainly does not live up to the beauty of the hotel, in fact very ugly and basic I would say. For a hotel of such beauty I would have expected a spa scattered across the rock and with many services available. Here they were non-existent
